- CACarilyn· November 25th, 2024Because one flight didn't go as scheduled, I lost one day and had to cram the missing time into the next two days. That resulted in very long travel days for three successive days. Roads are terrible, but that has nothing to do with the tour or operator. I got to see lots of baobabs, lemurs, and landscapes. It's a beautiful country. If you have back problems, don't go on this tour. The vehicle was very comfortable, but between washboard, roller coaster and extremely potholed roads, you will be thrown back and forth and be caused further pain if you have back problems. If you have asthma or breathing problems, I also wouldn't recommend this time of year (burning of grass, slash and burn) because there's smoke everywhere that makes the throat raw and caused much discomfort and coughing. But the tour is full of variety.Show more

However, if you prefer a private room, you'll need to pay a single supplement fee. We don't typically merge clients to share a room unless we find another client interested in sharing.
