Over the course of five incredible days, we managed to see so much, thanks to our wonderful tour guides. I must give a special shout-out to Heilo, our Japanese guide. Our English guide had to leave the tour early, and Heilo graciously took us under his wing. Not only did he ensure we were well taken care of, but he also went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable. His dedication and kindness did not go unnoticed. The guides who served as interpreters for the Japanese and Chinese passengers were equally fantastic and took great care of us too. However, I do have one point of disappointment to share regarding our accommodations at the Comfort Inn Stephenson Ranch. While I understand that all hotels on the tour are mostly three-star rated, this particular hotel seemed a bit outdated and in need of some attention. I found it to be quite old and unfortunately, not as clean as I would have hoped. Despite this minor setback with the accommodation, I want to express my heartfelt thanks to Tour Radar for a job well done. I asked him if he knew the name of the tour guide the following day, he said "the name is not important". The following day, he was still the tour guide. Prior to that, he asked for a minimum of 20 US dollars per day per person tip (for the 3 day tour), that is aside from the envelope tip (passed around) for the driver. Same tour guide Walter skipped us when he distributed starbucks breakfast card (in Las Vegas). We thought it was it was probably just for them, so we were not included. Then we came to know that everybody should have those cards for breakfast the following morning, we told him about it, he was on defense mode right away accusing us of losing the tickets, when in fact, he did not give us any. The only parts in our tour that include Los Angeles are the meeting and end points therefore the sightseeing portions of the tours have not changed.
