- Day 1
Ho Chi Minh City
You'll land at Ho Chi Minh City airport whenever suits you best, and a Legend Travel Group driver will be waiting to take you to your hotel. Once you've checked in and settled, the rest of the day is yours to wander around the city and get a feel for how things work here. It's a good time to grab some street food or just walk the neighborhoods.

Ho Chi Minh City
After breakfast at the hotel, head to Notre Dame Cathedral and check out the historic Central Post Office that Gustave Eiffel designed. From there, move on to the Reunification Palace before driving out to the Cu Chi Tunnels, where you'll learn about Vietnam War history and walk through the underground network. You'll get back to Ho Chi Minh City for the night.

Ho Chi Minh City to Hoi An
Your guide picks you up at 8:00 am after breakfast for the drive to My Tho on the Mekong River. You'll explore islands that produce traditional handicrafts and visit the Vinh Trang Pagoda by boat. Later, you'll return to Ho Chi Minh City, then fly to Da Nang and transfer to Hoi An where you'll stay the night.

Hoi An
In Hoi An, you'll walk through the historic old town visiting a temple with Chinese-Japanese influences, a pagoda dedicated to sailors and fishermen, and the Sa Huynh Museum near the Japanese Covered Bridge. During the afternoon, take a boat trip on the Thu Bon River to Kim Bong Village to see traditional woodworkers and shipbuilders at work. By evening, you'll have time to explore Hoi An Ancient Town on your own.

You'll cycle 3km to Tra Que Vegetable Village in the morning to see organic farming firsthand, learn to prepare soil and plant vegetables, then get a 15-minute herbal foot massage. After that, join a cooking class with a local family to make Hoi An specialties like Tam Huu Spring Rolls and Banh Xeo Pancakes, then eat lunch together. You're back around 3:30 pm with the rest of the day free for Hoi An Town or Cua Dai beach.

There's a break at Lang Co Beach before reaching Hue in the afternoon. Check in and then explore the imperial city at your own pace.

Head back for a relaxing evening.

Luang Prabang
After breakfast, you have the option to participate in the morning alms-giving to saffron-clad monks, a tradition unique to Laos. You'll visit Phosi Market, then tour Wat Sene and Wat Xieng Thong temples. During the afternoon, take an upstream cruise on the Mekong River with stops at Pak Ou Caves, Ban Xanghai rice wine village, and Ban Phanom weaving village. See Patuxai, which is like the Lao Arc de Triomphe and commemorates wartime deaths. In the afternoon, check out Buddha Park near the Friendship Bridge with roughly 200 Buddhist and Hindu sculptures. The day ends with a sunset view over the Mekong River.
