Peter was a knowledgeable and supportive leader. Escorted travel on ferries between four islands, mostly reasonable hotels, with a couple of lovely places to stay. He was always alert to our needs; always willing to help us in any way. Peter's great sense of humor added to our fun! Our tour group all felt that the descriptions of the walks were not at all accurate! For example, an easy coastal walk was actually a pretty challenging hike on uneven, rocky, hilly terrain. Sharing historical, geographical & geological information on the trips and walks. It's not a relaxing holiday (there is some opportunity for down time), but just as you get familiar with a place, it's time to move on. A great group (15) of very diverse ages and abilities, which gelled well. A great way to get a taste of the Cyclades and decide where to return to.Show more

- AHAnton· May 6th, 2024Peter D was exceptional. The guide in Syros was horrible. Too much religion and could not understand his English or his train of thought . Hotel in Athens was very poor. Francois and Nicola hotels were great. Breakfast at Nicholas was stingy at best. The other Hotel’s generally were poor. Can’t say enough about Peter. Loved him. His knowledge and passion for the Greek culture are second to none. His clear concise explanations of all things were much appreciated and understood. He was a pleasure to be with.
