What our customers ask about this tour

Asked on February 11th, 2025will this tour be operating in January 2026?
- Highland Experience ToursOperator•Written February 2025
Unfortunately, this tour does not run in January as it will only run during the spring and summer months. We do have other options such as a 3-Day Skye Tour departing from Edinburgh if that would be of interest to you?

Stacey
Asked on March 31st, 2024Will she be allowed on any of the Scotland tours? I know the tour says an age range, but is that a suggestion or strict policy?
- Highland Experience ToursOperator•Written April 2024
All of our non-private tours require that all passengers are over the age of 3. If you wish to travel with children under the age of 3 I suggest that you book a private tour with us.

Asked on January 16th, 2024Does the bedroom have its own private bath, or is it a shared bathroom down the hall? Is the B&B room in a small hotel or a private house? What types of restaurant & food options are available for lunch & dinner?
- Highland Experience ToursOperator•Written January 2024
All accommodation would have their own private bathrooms, so you wouldn't have to share with the other passengers. Regarding restaurant options, there is a wide variety available but I would suggest booking in advance, as it books out very quickly in the summer season. Some suggestions would include; The Royal hotel and caladh inn hotel, located in the over night stop in stornoway.

Asked on December 13th, 2022Hi I am looking at the Hebridean Escape 3 Day Tour on 9 June. Is that in inches - if it is a big suitcase should be ok (given we are travelling from AUSTRALIA)? Also how much is the optional standing stones and Iron Age brooch visit?
- Highland Experience ToursOperator•Written December 2022
Due to the size of our vehicles, on our multi-day tours, we guarantee to carry one piece of luggage per passenger of 55cm x 40cm x 20cm, with a maximum of 15 kg along with 1 x small handbag or daypack. Could you please tell us what the size and weight of their luggage is? – Hopefully, we will be able to store it on the bus. Dun Carloway Broch is free to visit.

- Highland Experience ToursOperator•Written December 2022
That would be fine - we will be able to storage it on bus, provided that your luggage is just slightly larger. We do hope to be able to welcome you to Scotland soon.
