- Day 1
Hanoi
You'll arrive in Hanoi whenever your flight gets in, and a Legend Travel Group driver will be waiting at the airport to pick you up and take you to your hotel. Once you check in, the rest of the day is completely yours to do what you need. Some people rest after traveling, while others head out to start wandering around the city and getting a feel for things.

Hanoi
After breakfast, your guide picks you up for a full-day tour covering Hanoi's key historical sites. You'll start at Tran Quoc Pagoda on Golden Fish Island, then move to the Ho Chi Minh complex to see his mausoleum and historic houses. Next comes the One Pillar Pagoda before heading to the Vietnam Ethnology Museum to learn about the country's 54 ethnic groups. Following lunch at a local restaurant, you visit the Temple of Literature (Vietnam's first university from the 11th century), ending at Hoa Lo Prison, called the 'Hanoi Hilton' during the Vietnam War.

Hanoi to Halong Bay
You'll have breakfast and then board transportation between 8:30-9:00 am for the 3.5-hour drive to Halong City, taking in countryside and rice paddy views along the way. At the port, you board a traditional Chinese junk boat to cruise through Halong Bay. The day includes visiting Amazing Cave and swimming in the emerald waters before anchoring in a quiet area for the night, where you'll have dinner and relax under the stars.

Halong Bay to Hoi An
You wake early to catch the sunrise over Halong Bay and have breakfast on the boat while cruising through thousands of islands, which is ideal for photography. You'll visit a floating fishing village to learn how the fishermen live their daily lives. After lunch on board, you cruise back to Halong City pier and return to Hanoi by mid-afternoon (around 3:30-4:00 pm). Later you fly from Hanoi to Hoi An, transfer to your hotel, and have the evening to explore the ancient town on your own.

Hoi An
You explore Hoi An, a historic trading center with temples displaying Chinese and Japanese influences along with a chapel from the 1700s. Stop at Sa Huynh Museum near the iconic Japanese Covered Bridge to see exhibitions from Hoi An's earliest periods. Then you take a boat trip on Thu Bon River to Kim Bong Village on Cam Kim Island to watch woodworkers and shipbuilders doing their craft. You'll have the evening at leisure wandering through Hoi An Ancient Town on your own.

You return to Hoi An around 1:00 pm for lunch on your own, then spend the afternoon shopping or walking around. Hoi An is known for beautiful lanterns, tailor-made clothing, and handcrafted souvenirs.

Hoi An to Ba Na Hills
After breakfast, your guide picks you up at 8:00 am for the transfer to Ba Na Hills. You ride the cable car to the summit for photos at the Golden Bridge, then visit Le Jardin D'amour flower garden. The Debay Wine Cellar offers wine tasting, followed by another cable car ride to French Village at 1,138 meters altitude to see the architecture. After lunch at the restaurant, you spend the afternoon at Fantasy Amusement Park (most standard games and 4D movies included; reward games cost extra). You return to Hoi An by cable car.

Hoi An to Hue
After breakfast, a driver picks you up at 9:00 am for the trip to Hue City. After a short break at Lang Co Beach, you arrive in Hue City in the afternoon, check in at your hotel, and have free time to explore the imperial city.

Ho Chi Minh City
After breakfast, you explore Ho Chi Minh City's highlights starting with Notre Dame Cathedral, a neo-Romanesque building from the 19th century. You stop at the historic Central Post Office, designed by Gustave Eiffel with beautiful interior maps and arched windows. Then you tour the Reunification Palace, the former presidential palace of South Vietnam. Following lunch, you head to Cu Chi Tunnels about 75 km away (roughly 1.5 hours drive). You explore the extensive tunnel system used during the Vietnam War, learning about underground cities, trap doors, living areas, hospitals, and kitchens. You'll sample simple wartime food and venture into the tunnels to experience what conditions were like.

You visit Vinh Trang Pagoda, the oldest pagoda in the Mekong Delta region, reached by boat, and see its beautiful gardens and intricate architecture. You return to Ho Chi Minh City and check in at your hotel.
