All tickets will be given to the relevant Travel Director to pass on to the guests when on the tour. Asked on June 24th, 2025I am aware that there are places that require a lengthy walk. I was wondering if there are any arrangements that can be made for someone with mobility issues like being dropped off nearer to the venue than where the bus is needed to park. I would not be able to do the walk up to the Edinburgh castle, is there a way to be dropped closer.

The Scotland's Highlands, Islands and Cities tour is classified as 'Balanced', meaning it typically involves medium walking distances over some uneven surfaces, averaging 1–3 miles per day. While your Travel Director and Driver will do everything possible to assist, certain historical sites like Edinburgh Castle may have limitations due to local access restrictions and terrain. Getting dropped off closer to the site isn't guaranteed, as it may vary based on the day's itinerary and the Travel Director's discretion. We also offer guided tours in Scotland with a 'Leisurely' activity level, featuring shorter walking distances (1–2 miles per day) and flatter surfaces, which may be more comfortable and better suited to your needs.

If walking becomes too much at any point, or if a location isn't wheelchair accessible, you're welcome to take a break. Our Travel Director will be happy to help you find a nearby spot to rest while the group continues, and you can rejoin once they return.

We would like to stay in beautiful hotels. It is very important for us to include the Isle of Mull and to spend 2 to 3 days in Edinburgh.
