We'll just need consent from both of you before we can confirm the arrangement. If you select our twin room option, then yes — we can pair you with another traveller of the same gender, just like on your previous Intrepid trip. However, regarding your medical condition and use of a CPAP machine, we kindly ask that you provide us with a few more details.

Traveler•Written July 2025I have sleep apnea. I use a c-pap, which is a pretty quiet machine, so that I don't snore. I have done several bike trips, and have taken my portable machine with me on each of them. I don't have any medication to use with the machine, and no medication that needs to be refrigerated. The c-pap needs to be plugged into an outlet, and the voltage isn't a problem with an adapter (unlike a nebulizer, which is a much more powerful machine). The leader need not know about the machine. If you believe that I should use a single supplement, how much would that cost?

This adventure begins with a welcome meeting at 6 pm on Day 1 at Kyoto where you'll meet your tour leader and fellow travellers. You can arrive at any time during the day as there are no activities planned until this important meeting. Afterwards, head out on an evening walk before enjoying a welcome dinner. Joining point is Hotel Resol Kyoto Kawaramachi Sanjo, 59-1 Daikokucho, Sanjo-sagaru, Kawaramachi-dori, Nakagyo-ku, Kyoto, JAPAN.
