What people love about 2-week Japan tours
- Simply JapanA very good introduction to Japan. Be aware that there is a fair bit of walking involved and the agenda is hurried at times because some venues and museums close early. I felt more time was needed in Hiroshima and less in Osaka.
- Japan Classic 14 Day - One Life AdventuresFantastic tour from start to finish. Huge variety of experiences - particularly if you do the Japan extension to include 14 days. Be aware that there is a LOT of walking and sometimes early starts. Don't take too much luggage - it is totally impractical and there are washing machines everywhere. (My bag weighed 11kgs and I still didn't wear everything!) Jack was the icing on the cake - his exceptional leadership skills, his organisation and people-skills enhanced the whole trip. One Life is an amazing company who include more activities/meals than any other small-group adventure company that I have ever been with before.
- 14 Days Japan PanoramicI would rate our tour between good and excellent. Good and ok were our hotels. The best one was our Kyoto hotel but we were very pleased with our Osaka one. The mediocre one was Kurashiki Hotel Centurion. The other hotels were good. Our guide was excellent and so was the driver. Our tour allowed us to see a lot and get a good though superficial experience of Japan.
