- Day 4 Bus to Shirakawa-go, famous for its traditional farmhouses. Japanese papermaking workshop. Cycle to Tonami
- Day 5 Cycle to Toyama Bay. Visit Zuiryuji Temple and Kanayamachi historic merchant’s street
- Day 6 Visit fish market. Toyama Bay cycle ride. Train to Itoigawa
- Day 7 Coastal cycle ride from Itoigawa to Naoe. Catch the local ferry to Sado Island

- AJohn· November 23rd, 2023Onsen bathing, Japanese cuisine, "bullet" train, freewheel cycling 40+ mph downhill, Kyoto tower, Tokyo tower, night time pedestrian "scramble" crossing amidst Tokyo light show, Kyoto sightseeing by bike, cycling Noto peninsula Sojiji warrier Zen buddist temple and gardens, traditional Japanese ryoken guesthouses, but only if single occupancy, which fortunately we did have on this trip.cycling through some longggg tunnels, meal at Toyoto Shirakawa GoEco institute, where we complimented the chef for his delicious food, final ride and visit to Shirkawa village-go, and Gokayama, river cruise and walk through Hama-rikuy gardens.
