Boston
You'll arrive in Boston this afternoon and connect with your Travel Director. If you want to get out and see things right away, the Seaport District is worth checking out for its seafood restaurants. Fresh lobster, scrod, and creamy chowder are all local specialties you can try if you're hungry after traveling.

Boston to Plymouth
This morning you'll walk the historic Freedom Trail through Boston's cobblestone streets, stopping at places like Quincy Market, the State Capitol, and Boston Common. After that, you'll head to Plymouth to see the Plimoth Patuxet Museums with their 17th-century colony recreation and the full-scale Mayflower II replica.

Cape Cod and Provincetown
You're traveling to Provincetown at Cape Cod's tip along the Old King's Highway. Start at the Salt Pond Visitor Center, then wander through artsy Provincetown with its galleries, cafes, and Portuguese fishing heritage. Later, there's a cranberry wine tasting at Truro Vineyards, and you'll take a harbor cruise through Hyannis Harbour to see lighthouses and the Kennedy Compound.

Cape Cod to Providence
After crossing the Cape Cod Canal, you'll visit a cranberry bog to learn how they're grown and harvested. The flooded bogs with their bright red cranberries during harvest season are quite a sight. From there you head to Newport to drive the 10-Mile Ocean Scenic Drive and tour the Breakers Mansion, a Vanderbilt summer cottage, before continuing to Providence.

Providence to Killington
Breakfast is at Francesca's, a family-owned diner with Mexican dishes and classic American breakfast options. You'll then head to Shelburne Falls to see the Bridge of Flowers, a former trolley bridge that's now covered in blooms. You'll arrive in Killington with two nights ahead and the afternoon to yourself for hiking, relaxing, or just enjoying the mountain air.

Killington to Montpelier to Killington
Today takes you through Vermont's Green Mountains to Montpelier, the state capital. Walk around the charming downtown and see the gold-domed capital building. At Morse Farm Maple Sugarworks you'll taste Sugar on Snow, a traditional Vermont treat. There's a quick stop in Stowe before you return to Killington for the evening.

Vermont to North Conway
You're crossing from Vermont's Green Mountains into New Hampshire's White Mountains along the historic Kanc scenic byway. The drive itself is scenic so keep your camera handy. By evening you'll arrive in North Conway where you'll be staying for the next two nights.

North Conway White Mountains Exploration
You'll explore the White Mountains with fall foliage surrounding everything. Visit Mount Washington, the tallest peak in the Northeast, and drive through Crawford Notch State Park. Stop at Silver Cascade Falls, a 250-foot waterfall on Mount Jackson's side. Later, wander North Conway's historic downtown with its restored buildings, antique shops, and bookstores.

North Conway to Boston via Maine
On your final day you're traveling through Maine's forests, seaside villages, and cliff-lined shores. Stop in Kennebunkport to browse boutiques and art galleries, then head to Portsmouth to see its 18th-century buildings and seaside character. From there you return to Boston where your New England trip started.
