They were only 3 people and all of them were Spanish, so I don't understand why they didn't do it in Spanish. The final hotel in Granada (Urban Dream) was certainly not a four-star (as advertised) and the dinner at the Melia Sol Principe in Torremolinos was disappointing. We only had four people in our group and we appreciate that VPT went ahead with the tour. The tradeoff is that we did not have a guide. We were told that our drive would serve as guide. While Miguel was an excellent driver, his limited English did not allow him to fulfill the role of guide. No compensation was offered for this downgrade. Overall, it was a rewarding experience. Our recommendations are to check in advance on the accommodations that you will actually receive and to change the venue of the stop in Torremolinos to Malaga (a much more interesting city that we visited via Uber).Show moreTrip date: February 2025

- DSDarren· November 14th, 2024Just days before departure the tour company announced no guide due to low bookings. -Tour marketed as both English and Spanish but Driver who then became Driver/Guide spoke no English. Thankfully other members of tour who were bilingual took pity on us with our rudimentary "Spanglish" and helped keep us informed about what was going on. After paying over $500 extra for single room accommodations for the 2 of us and a $99 service fee, we were booked with only 1 room every night for the 4 nights - Had to use booking.com to book last minute rooms at our own expense to secure single rooms costing over $500 additional expense. Still awaiting response for reimbursement for the single room accommodations we paid upfront. In spite of these surprises, we felt the value of the tour and the local guides (who were bilingual) was worth the price. We do not do private tours for individual passengers, as the cost is very high and we don't usually do any. The price of a private tour for only 3 people can be three times the price of a regular tour.

We do not yet have the prices for next year's brochure. However, we can confirm your reservation with a 5% price increase. If the price is lower when we have the new rates, we will adjust it, but if it is higher, we will keep the confirmed price without any increase.

This tour on the Costa del Sol normally stays overnight in Torremolinos, although it can change to another part of the Costa del Sol such as Benalmadena. The size of the bus depends on the number of passengers travelling on that date, as we have buses of different sizes. Our tours are bilingual in English and Spanish, so you should have no problem even if you only speak English.

In Seville there is a panoramic tour of Seville and the rest of the day is free, so you can visit the Alcazar on your own as it is not included in the tour. In Granada, the visit of the Alhambra is included with general entrance + Generalife Gardens. The visit to the Nazari palaces is not included.

Tickets for the Alhambra are not yet on sale for travel agencies. The number of tickets offered depends on the patronage of the Alhambra so we cannot guarantee them 100%. If in any case, The Patronato of the Alhambra and Generalife were not granted tickets for certain dates for the participants of the Visit, a tour of the city of Granada will be provided instead: Visit to the Palace of Carlos V, the Archaeological Museum, Church of Santa María de la Alhambra, Royal Chapel and a walk through the city Alcaiceria (silk market) and the Cathedral Square. The entrance to Alcazar of Seville is not included on the tour

Our tours are guided, but for the Combined Trip, we require a minimum of 12 passengers. In exceptional cases, if the number of registered passengers does not cover the minimum number of passengers required and in order to maintain our commitment to a guaranteed departure, the tours can be carried out without an accompanying guide, with an expert driver. The visits included in the itinerary will be carried out with a local guide.
