- Doris· August 18th, 2022An excellent trip across the Kimberleys. So many highlights difficult to pick out a favourite. The food was good and Cyd and Rik were attentive to everyone's needs.Show moreIntrepid Travel commented on this reviewHey Doris, thank you for the great feedback. - MWMaryann· August 16th, 2022We thoroughly enjoyed our adventure from Broome to Darwin. Our driver was Rick who handled the bus and 19 pax brilliantly, and Cyd was our cook/tour guide at many sites and all rounder do-er. Cyd looked after me we dietary requirements so I never missed out on anything. We saw amazing sites and were encouraged to do walks and swims in May gorges. I would recommend this tour to anyone looking for adventure and has a reasonably good level of fitness.Show moreIntrepid Travel commented on this reviewThank you for your review Maryann. - TMTheo· July 25th, 2022Darwin to Broome Overland Tour 5-19th July 2022 My partner and I had a once in a lifetime experience thanks to the amazing skills, hard work, humour and organisation of the two guides Kimberly and Felicity. They made the trip a really special experience and rolled with the punches when things didn't go exactly to plan. Both of these unique women must be acknowledged for the success of our tour. I hope their employers look after them and reward them accordingly.Show moreIntrepid Travel commented on this reviewHi Theo – Thank you for your lovely review. - PKParisse· July 24th, 2022My partner and I did the 10 Day Darwin to Broome overland trip. The trip far exceeded my expectations largely due to our fantastic guides Flick and Kimberley. Their knowledge of the places visited was excellent and their hand-on skills amazing. They motivated our group to try some unforgettable activities and overall we had a fantastic time. The food was basic but sustaining, bus comfortable with air-con and our group members were wonderful.Show moreTrip date: June 2022
- amanda· June 6th, 2022The two tour leaders were very competent and friendly. They worked with all bus travellers well. I was happy with the tour itself and have given it a high rating. The following comments are made for the benefit of the company and the next group of travellers: * tour leaders to have some background knowledge on the flora, fauna, geology of the areas we passed through. *bus uncomfortable as there was no leg room or storage for small daily items so these items rolled around the interior of the bus. I have needed physio of one knee. *There were insufficient curtains so late afternoon sun was dehydrating. * there were some mechanical problems too, with blocked fuel line and other issues which meant very slow speed. * first aid bag inadequately stocked and some items well out of date * vegans and coeliacs could be better catered for. There should be strict operating guidelines for team leaders to follow related to those with allergies. One fellow traveller was at risk of being hospitalised for allergic reaction to dairy and spoons etc often exchanged between foods. Thanks for providing a fascinating experience.Show moreIntrepid Travel commented on this reviewHi Amanda - Thank you for taking the time to leave such a detailed review.
