- JLJoey· March 31st, 2025The tour was excellent. Steve, from the tour company, was very helpful setting up our tour. Our guide Chava Haugen did an outstanding job. She explained everything very thoroughly. She explained the sites we visited from both a biblical and historical perspective.Show moreTrip date: March 2025
- Diana M.· May 19th, 2023The guide Marcelo and the bus driver Muhammad are completely lacking in manners and customer service. They are rude and sexist, and they yelled at us all the time. Even though the guide knew a lot about the culture and religion, he was all the time shutting people up. It seemed that we (especially women) had no right to speak, they treated us as if they did everything for free and indeed we paid for a service. They only brought us to buy souvenirs in the most expensive places giving us no time to explore the places we want to buy. And every time we ask them for going to another place they just yelled at us. I traveled with my grandmother, and in the group, there were other old people, even someone with crutches, they didn't care at all and they were rushing us to run knowing they cannot walk fast. It would be nice to educate the guides and bus drivers to at least be polite to people.Show moreTrip date: May 2023
- Nnixos· December 1st, 2020We have just finished our tour with CTO , what a wonderful experience, visiting so many historical sites and given such an in depth and comprehensive tour, we were so fortunate to have such a great guide as Yossi, ( he is a walking encyclopaedia ) he has the ability to make you think and question historic events Brilliant! This trip is full on, and we could not believe just how much we got to see and learn, we were in a small group of 15 which was perfect and what an amazing group of people who we will remain in touch with. Thank you Yossi!Show moreTrip date: March 2020

- JJamilaPatel· January 19th, 2019I didn’t quite get the tour I expected. Everybody's package was different- some had paid Christian tour and they got it. Others had paid for highlights of Israel - got the Christian tour What we all got was a Christian tour led by two of the people in the group! The guide allowed these two people to manipulate the rest of the group and time. I expected to see some Synagogues and Mosques as well as the Christian attractions. The places we did see were excellent. The tour in Bethlehem, which for Christians was the major highlight, was guided by a lady who did her best to discourage the group from queueing up and seeing the birth place and manger of Jesus, preferring us to go to a souvenir shop. She got quite irate that we chose to actually see the birth place and manger of Jesus rather than shop at the souvenir shop! Every lunch place recommended had the same food and expensive- strongly suspect it was chosen by the tour guides who may have benefitted in some way. Everybody paid different prices and for different packages. In Israel I expected to see just as many synagogues as churches. Guides need to value all participants, not a few who impress them. Our guide, got a generous tip from the couple Who monopolised the group’s time implied we should do the same. He even offered to go the ATM with one young couple! Altogether a very unpleasant final bit of the tour!Show moreConsolidated Tour Operators commented on this reviewDear Mrs Patel, we operate this tour for years and is the same for all. - DRDavid· January 2nd, 2019Our 8 days Tour was one that met many expectations. The Tour Guide was very knowledgeable and interactive. Having a small group of 12 helped too. The itenary was well spaced out, giving us ample time to rest and have time for ourselves too. On the whole it was a great tour. The ONLY set back was that our hotels were not near any shopping centres.Show moreConsolidated Tour Operators commented on this reviewDear David, Thank yo very much for your positive review. Asked on March 5th, 2025which hotels are you offering with this price? 3 or 4 stars? Please provide me the names
- Consolidated Tour OperatorsOperator•Written March 2025
Israel does not have an official star rating system for all of its hotels, therefore the hotels featured in our multi-day tours are presented as Tourist Class, First Class, Superior Class or Deluxe Class. The equivalent standards are usually attributed as follows: Tourist Class = 3 Star, First Class = 4 Star, Superior Class = 4 Star Superior, Deluxe Class = 5 Star. Tourist Class hotels: Standard price - $1,596 per person in a double room. Hotels: 23-24 March (1 night) – Maxim Hotel, Tel Aviv, 24-27 March (3 nights) – Prima Park Hotel, Jerusalem, 27-29 March (2 nights) – Prima Galil Hotel, Tiberias, 29-30 March (1 night) – Maxim Hotel, Tel Aviv. First Class hotels: Standard price - $1,596 per person in a double room. Hotels: 23-24 March (1 night) – Metropolitan Hotel, Tel Aviv, 24-27 March (3 nights) – Grand Court Hotel, Jerusalem, 27-29 March (2 nights) – Lake House Hotel, Tiberias, 29-30 March (1 night) – Metropolitan Hotel, Tel Aviv.

Asked on May 4th, 2023Do you have the names of the hotel or the ratings for them because I would like to go for the tourist class hotel but I want to know what the rating is and what it looks like before choosing? I was looking at the itinerary and I don't see the City of Eialt just wondering if that is in the tour? Are the tours half days or full-day tours? what days do we have free time?
- Consolidated Tour OperatorsOperator•Written May 2023
Tourist Class hotels are approx 3 star and usually are the following: Maxim Hotel Tel Aviv, Prima Galil Hotel Tiberias, Prima Park Hotel Jerusalem. This depends on availability at time of booking and could change according to that, especially as October is a busy season. Eilat is not featured on the tour itinerary. The days of touring are all full day tours. Usually beginning at around 8am and ending around 4pm. Some days may be longer. If you want some free time, thee is always the possibility to add some free day(s) before or after the tour in Tel Aviv by extending your stay.

Asked on December 11th, 2022I am interested again in going to Israel in March of 23. Looking at the 8 day tour. I was told at that time if I ever decide to come in the future the old rate would be very seriously considered in Canadian funds.
- Consolidated Tour OperatorsOperator•Written December 2022
Unfortunately, in the interim period since the pandemic, prices have increased dramatically throughout the tourism sector and many of the rates are around 20% more expensive than back in 2020.
- Consolidated Tour OperatorsOperator•Written December 2022
We will be able to offer you for the 7 night tour - arriving on 02, 09, 16 or 23 March - in standard accommodation, including 6 dinners - a US$150 discount per person from the new price. Therefore the tour will be US$1532 per person.

Traveler•Written December 2022In 2020 when I was quoted it was in Canadian funds and that is how I would book. It has to be an offer in Canadian funds not in American.

Asked on May 1st, 2017Can you help us with our visas if needed?
- Consolidated Tour OperatorsOperator•Written May 2017
We are only able to request visas for group tours, not for individuals.
The best thing is probably to contact the Israeli embassy in Nairobi.

Asked on January 1st, 2017My planned travel dates happens to be during Passover. Do you think local stores/attractions/etc will be closed because of the holiday?
- Consolidated Tour OperatorsOperator•Written January 2017
If we are operating tours during this time, then rest assured there will be alternative activities planned if the ones that normally operate the rest of the year are closed. Please just be mind-full that the normal itinerary may differ slightly during this period.
