Most lodges and camps do not have 24hr electricity - they usually run on generators which are routinely shut off overnight from approximately 10pm to 5am. If you require electricity at all times through the night for medical reasons such as a c-pap machine, we do suggest that our travellers have back up batteries just in case there is an issue with the generators at some camps.
