Autumn· September 5th, 2025It’s hard to rate this bc of all of the problems I had on this tour. The safari experience in Kruger National Park was amazing. But there were so many communication problems. I paid for this trip in full at once when I purchased it. At least that’s what I thought. Less than a week before my tour started, I received a message stating I had to pay an additional $250 since I was a solo traveler and no one else had booked safari game drives those days. It would have been nice to be notified of this when I first called and asked about the tour and how many travelers were required for the tour to proceed. The day of one of my solo game drives, it turns out a family booked to join me. When I explained this to the tour company on Aug 27, they said I would be receiving a partial refund. Today is Sep 4 and I still haven’t received the refund and have contacted them again. Hopefully they are honest and give me the refund I am owed. This tour program clearly states that it is full board and includes breakfast, lunch and dinner. However, when I got to each resort I was told lunch was not included. So the tour company had to speak to the resort to notify them not to charge me which was another hassle. This tour company told me pickup times for my excursions, but then in person I was told different times for the same excursions which led to a lot of confusion. Too many communication problems.
