Ours Samart Srisoda (Joe) has incredible energy and personality that made the trip very enjoyable and entertaining from day one!! This together with his local knowledge, of the locations and food gave us a truly unique experience. I was thrilled that he was a former monk as it gave me insight into Buddhism that only someone in his position could do. This really assisted us when we were at the temples as he could answer any questions. Thoughtout the trip he made sure we were all comfortable and helped us attain anything we needed. He also added a special touch by creating a group chat, reminding us each night what we would be doing the next day, and a photo sharing app. This was extremely handy, as he also captured moments we couldn't. Also, if prices are based on double occupancy, is it possible to plan for a room for 4 of us? I probably wouldn't be able to afford full price for each.
G AdventuresOperator•Written September 2025On our Classic tours, we will allow passengers to book who are 11 years and 9 months as of the first day of the tour, but no lower than this. Prices are not based on double occupancy, they are the same per person, whether booking as a single, twin, double, triple etc. The only difference is when a single would like a room of their own, they can pay an extra cost.

Hellfire Pass is a couple of hours from Kanchanaburi. This would be possible on Day 3 (your full day in Kanchanaburi), but you would miss sightseeing at Erawan Falls and the Bridge on the River Kwai. The additional cost for Hellfire Pass would also need to be covered by you.
