Itinerary

  1. Day 1

    Arrival in Kathmandu

    A driver picks you up from Kathmandu airport and takes you to your hotel. Once you're settled, you can either rest or head to Himalayan Glacier's office if you want. The evening brings a welcome dinner where you'll try authentic Nepalese food for the first time.

  2. Day 2

    Kathmandu to Ghandruk Trek

    You'll catch an early morning flight to Pokhara with great views of the Himalayas from your window on the right side. After landing, it's about 1 hour 20 minutes by car to Naya Pul. From there you trek to Ghandruk, a village where the Gurung community lives. If there's time left, the Gurung museum is worth checking out.

  3. Day 3

    Ghandruk to Chhomrong Trek

    An hour of climbing gets you to Kimrungdanda where you see Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, Fishtail Mountain, and Ganggapurna. The trail drops steeply to Kimrong Khola, then climbs sharply again to Chere Danda. From there you descend gradually into Chhomrong, a nice village on the Annapurna massif.

  4. Day 4

    Chhomrong to Bamboo Trek

    You'll descend 2500 stone steps and cross a bridge over Chhomrong Khola. After that, the trail goes uphill to Sinuwa, passes through forest toward Kuldihar, then eases downhill the rest of the way to Bamboo for the night.

  5. Day 5

    Bamboo to Deurali Trek

    The trek goes through damp bamboo forest with steady climbing and some steep sections. Once you reach Himalaya Hotel, the trees open up and you see views of the glacial river. Continue climbing through drier forest to Hinku Cave, then take the scenic path to Deurali with valley views and waterfalls along the way.

  6. Day 6

    Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp Trek

    You start with gentle climbing through a river bed, then go steeply up the mountain side. The section from Bagar to Machhapuchhre Base Camp is fairly hard work. When you reach Annapurna Base Camp, you get 360-degree views of Machhapuchhre, the Annapurna peaks, and all the surrounding mountains from the sanctuary.

    Annapurna Base Camp to Bamboo Trek

    You retrace the route from Annapurna Base Camp back down to Bamboo. Since today is mostly downhill, it's not too tough on your legs, and the landscape around you stays extraordinary the whole way.

  8. Day 8

    Bamboo to Jhinu Danda Trek

    Starting from Bamboo, you go uphill to Kuldighar, then downhill to Chhomrong Khola. Next you climb the stone steps into Chhomrong, then descend to Jhinu Danda. If you want to relax your muscles, the hot springs are a 15 to 20 minute walk downhill from Jhinu Danda.

    Jhinu Danda to Pokhara Trek & Transfer

    The trek takes you from Jhinu Danda to Naya Pul through the nice hill landscape of western Nepal. You'll stop for lunch along the route. Your trekking ends at Naya Pul where you get in a vehicle and drive to Pokhara for the night.

  10. Day 10

    Pokhara to Kathmandu

    An afternoon flight brings you back to Kathmandu. Once you land, your guide takes you to the hotel. Spend the rest of the day wandering through landmarks you might have missed on day one or doing some last-minute shopping. A farewell dinner in the evening marks the end of your trek.

    Departure from Kathmandu

    Great tour. Arrived and found out I would be by myself. Tour operator made every effort to ensure that I felt safe. I had a private room to myself at all the tea-houses for no extra cost. All the accommodation and food was great. Guide and porter all very lovey.

  • Payment information
    • For any tour departing before January 1st, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after January 1st, 2026, a minimum payment of 10% is required to confirm your booking with Himalayan Glacier Adventure and Travel Company. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
    • Some departure dates and prices may vary and Himalayan Glacier Adventure and Travel Company will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
