- Peter· May 8th, 2025Our tour of Albania was very enjoyable with some great highlights: a very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable guide; wonderful cities such as Tirane, Vlorë and Berat; and interesting choices of cultural and historical sites visited. Nevertheless, there were important shortcomings too: it’s wrong to claim it’s a 10-day tour as it’s really just 8 days as days 1&10 are just airport transfers; lunch breaks on several days went on for too long as it would have been better to spend more time in overnight stays; the hotel stays were too variable in quality in both the rooms offered and breakfast provided; one or two locations could easily have had 2 nights in them by swapping stays in other locations eg 2 nights in Gjirokastër and no nights in Korçë; and why was no WhatsApp group set up to help with communications?Show more

Only minor negative was unexpected payment for 2 exttra nights that I thought were already paid for. This was an error in communication. Lesson here is to be clear about cost and to ensure total payment prior to tour. A slight blight on what otherwise would have been a perfect tour.Show more

Asked on April 29th, 2024The Dalmatia and Dacia tour is too rushed for us i.e. only 1 night in each hotel. This is what we are looking for: a small group coach tour – max 20. In depth tour of the Balkan Countries only. 3*+ hotels with ensuite twin share. Duration of up to 28 days that covers all or most of the Balkan countries or Two shorter tours say 14 days each that we could marry up so that would cover what we want to experience. We would also like more than one night in at least half of the overnight stays. If possible, return flights included from Brisbane Australia if that is an option

We do not have a shared group tour on the given period asked. We can offer this trip on private basis only for you. In this case, if you want to do it privately, we can surely add more overnights in certain places, or we can adopt the program as per your preferences. Surely, the private tour is a personalized service, and is quoted based in 2 participants in your case. And the costs is naturally higher.

We can offer the airport transfer and accomodation for the 1st day if requested. The tour cost is quoted based on a minimum number of participants (minimum 4-6 pax). We can put you in waiting list and wait for more bookings, or operate it as Solo Traveler (subject to requotation accordingly). If not, we can offer similar programs in the region, or if not happy, you can cancel it FOC.

Traveler•Written July 2023For the accommodation/hotels, we noticed that Day1 tour started with "after breakfast", there is no hotel information for the previous night in Tirana. Day14 return to Tirana overnight in your hotel, but no hotel information. Day 28 back to Tirana for farewell dinner in your hotel, but no hotel information again. Does this tour include hotel in Tirana? What does mean "in your hotel"? (All other hotels stay in other cities shows the hotel information).
