- Day 1
Arrival
You'll arrive in Hanoi at whatever time works for you, so the early part of the day is open. There's an evening welcome meeting where you'll meet your CEO and the rest of the group. After that wraps up, you can choose to grab dinner with everyone or do your own thing.

Halong Bay Cruise
Head out from Hanoi to Bai Chay harbour in the morning, then board a traditional junk boat for the Halong Bay cruise. You'll spend the day checking out dramatic limestone karst mountains, wandering through caves, and hitting various island lookouts. Seafood lunch happens on board, and in the evening there's seafood dinner with the option to hang out on deck with drinks under the stars.

Halong Bay to Hanoi to Hue
Breakfast and lunch happen on the junk boat before you sail back to port. From there, a private vehicle takes you back to Hanoi. You'll have some free time to kill in the city before boarding an overnight train to Hue in the evening.

Hue
You'll arrive in Hue early morning and jump into a guided tour hitting Tien Mu Pagoda, the Imperial Citadel, and a royal tomb. After that, the rest of your day opens up for wandering around on your own. Try banh khoai (savoury pancakes) and wash it down with a local Hue beer while you're at it.

Hue to Hoi An
Drive across the Hai Van Pass with great views all around you (assuming the weather cooperates). You'll arrive in Hoi An by afternoon, and since you've got three nights here, there's plenty of time to check out what the town has to offer.

Hoi An
This morning you'll start by walking through the heart of Hoi An to soak in the local atmosphere and see what the town has to offer. There's a noodle making demonstration coming up where you can watch and learn how locals prepare this traditional dish, then sit down for lunch at Oodles of Noodles, a G Adventures-supported project that's worth checking out. Depending on what appeals to you, the afternoon opens up with several options. You could head to one of the tailor shops and order some custom clothes made to fit you perfectly, which is something Hoi An is known for. If you'd rather relax, the beach is close by and gives you a chance to unwind after exploring. The day really lets you choose your own pace and focus on whatever interests you most, whether that's deeper into the local culture or just taking things easy.

Spot laquerware shops and try out some delicious local food stalls while you're exploring.

Ho Chi Minh City to Phnom Penh
This is a travel day where you'll cross the border from Vietnam into Cambodia. You'll take a local bus and then switch to a private vehicle to reach Phnom Penh, the capital. Once you arrive, you'll take a cyclo (traditional three-wheeled taxi) through the city streets to get a street-level feel for this vibrant place.
