Their villa in Tuscany was the perfect spot for our family reunion that included two 84 yr old's with compromised mobility, teenagers and young adults. With it's pool, volleyball and soccer field to it's vegetable garden demonstration kitchen and beautiful guest suites, we didn't even have to leave the place. But we did!!! The tours they organized and led were wonderful. - AManthony· June 13th, 2022I would recommend this trip to anyone who loves to walk in beautiful places, enjoys delicious food, desires to learn more about the richness of Italian history, wants to be introduced to real Italians and would enjoy spending time with 2 wonderful guides who have lived in Tuscany for many years and who are delightful, well informed, organized, caring and so friendly. We all had the feeling that we were very special. A tour is only as good as the people who put it together and Caroline and Pino are the best! Everything about the tour was so well thought out and executed perfectly. If I could, I would repeat this trip tomorrow. Tony MuirShow more

Asked on September 22nd, 2022How many nights in each location? We are 60+ and in good shape, is this tour for us? Can we add Cinque Terre or the lake region?
Caspin JourneysOperator•Written September 2022Our average age is 60+ so you are in the normal age bracket for our tours if you are active people and in good health and can walk for 3 to 6 hours a day up and downhill. We can consider combining Cinque terre as well.

Asked on February 28th, 2022First, please could you provide details of where we would stay each night. Second, am I correct in assuming this is a self-guided walking tour?

Our group size is 10 plus 2 leaders, one for the walking and another for the logistics - so really small groups. We stay 2 nights in Orvieto, 2 in Pienza, 2 in Cortona and 3 in Spoleto - we select all our hotels to reflect the character of the area and they are small mostly family run hotels.
