When I met with Sunny, who was extremely helpful in assisting me throughout the process, I was quite surprised to hear that I was the only person on this tour. However as the time passed, I realized I would be just fine as all hotels arrangements, tours and transportation had been arranged for me and all I had to do is show up on time. I was hoping to be on a traditional tour with a group of people moving city to city. Little did I know I would more or less be traveling solo. I would meet many people from different countries and I was just fine. I have always traveled alone but thought with the language barrier and zero knowledge of either country other than Google, I thought it would be better for me to be with a group. I have to say once I accepted the fact I would be alone, I was absolutely fine with it. The day excursions were exceptional, the cooking class, the tunnels, Boat Rides, SAPA Trekking, Halong Bay, The Royal Palace etc. The cuisine and the culture must be explored! I was so fortunate to have the personnel attention and Sunny who would guide me along the way when I needed her assistance that I would definitely recommend the services of Viet Nam Allure Travel for those who do not want the traditional "on the bus off the bus" tour. Many customers of Vietnam Allure Travel, used 3 star hotels and they were happy. Also, you can think about upgrade to Halong Bay cruise only. All the hotels and Halong Bay cruise are hand-picked 3-star accommodations. Beautiful and central location. Of course they have private en-suite bathrooms. Only on night train, there will be one toilet at each train carriage.

The train cabin is 4-berth soft sleeper AC. Upgrade from train to flight is 40 USD/person. From Ho Chi Minh to Phnom Penh, upgrade from bus to flight is 88 USD/person. Children pricing: 5-10 years: 70% of adult price, 11 years and above: same as adult price.

Small group tours have 12 people, with different groups in each city. Hanoi city tour includes Ho Chi Minh Complex, Tran Quoc Pagoda, Temple of Literature, Hoan Kiem Lake, Hoa Lo Prison. We can replace Tam Coc with Trang An in Ninh Binh. We can add My Son sanctuary in Hoi An. Halong Bay overnight is recommended, but 2-3 nights are possible. Hotel star ratings can be customized per city.
