- Olivia· August 6th, 2024The tour was excellent, the boat cruise was definitely the highlight of the trip! Our guide Aykut was awesome and had information on everything! The itinerary was good, we saw a decent amount of Turkey! Definitely would recommend for solo travellers or couples!Show moreTravel Talk commented on this reviewHi Olivia, thank you for your kind review! - Regina· June 29th, 2024To begin,we feel that we should shower praises on Mustafa Kurt of Travel Talk tours,-our wonderful, kind, caring and efficient tour guide: the best in my 6 decades of travel in all modes.A great combination of facts, humor, helpfulness and always there for our diverse group. The itinerary included long days-some 8 hours on the bus. Wish all the fans were working in the intense heat. The below deck cabins on the gulet were sweltering on some 100 degree F (40+C) days. Our driver was a careful and smooth one, making it easier for us to overcome all those hairpin turns. My 16 y o grandson and I, 80, are so grateful for the opportunity. Again, Mustafa is the best of the best!Show moreTravel Talk commented on this reviewHi Regina, thank you for your review! - BSBasil· June 13th, 2024I felt the group was to large at 41. Also, stood at hotels with subpar and the Gulet cruise cabins did not have aircon, at 43C it was unbearable to sleep in the cabin. The guide should also provide more context at each local.Show moreTravel Talk commented on this reviewHi Basil, thank you for your review. We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. - AE.Warby· December 6th, 2023I recently completed the ‘Amazing Turkey by Gulet’ and it really was just that - amazing! The 3 days on the Gulet were very easily the highlight (excluding the hot air balloons in Cappadocia of course!) and I would highly recommend this option if you are given a choice!A big contributor to the Gulet being a highlight was the size of the group - a small group of 15 meant everyone got a chance to get to know each other and everyone got along really well!! The size of the overall group was quite overwhelming at times and made it difficult to get to know everyone. The amount of travel time was also very underwhelming and the food stops at service stations weren’t exactly what I expected from Turkish cuisine. Despite these minor flaws, the trip was incredible and I would highly recommend it to anyone!Show moreTrip date: July 2019Review collected by Travel Talk
- AL.Baker· December 6th, 2023Just finished my 9th tour, Amazing Turkey by Gulet with the tour guide Yavuz aka Kevin! and hands down he was the best guide ever! Knew every little detail about everything and was just a genuine and caring bloke! Couldn't recommend him or the tour more!Show moreTrip date: July 2019Review collected by Travel Talk
- AN.O'Reilly· December 6th, 2023I can't recommend the Amazing Turkey By Gulet trip enough. I had the best time, a great mix of intense sightseeing and chilling on a sailboat! Most credit, however must go to our amazing guide Yavuz/Kev! He was all round amazing, his knowledge, constant positivity, and genuine care for us all really made this trip super special! Thanks for an awesome trip Kev - we love you!Show moreTrip date: July 2019Review collected by Travel Talk

- AD.Cardamone· December 6th, 2023I'v done three Travel Talk Tours now (Morocco, Egypt and Turkey). All breathtaking experiences, there is no way to compare as people usually ask me 'which one did you like the most?' or 'which tour do you recommend?' My usual response is 'you just have to do them all!' The guides really made sure the tours were engaging, fun, captivating and they all went out of their way to accommodate everybody's needs. They were very knowledgeable in their content and not to mention passionate about their countries which I believed allowed the group to become more engulfed in the experiences and history. I've been with many travel companies and I highly recommend Travel Talk out of all of them. It's an experience you won't regret!Show moreTrip date: July 2019Review collected by Travel Talk
- AJemma L· December 6th, 2023Turkey by Gulet an incredible 12 day trip only made possible by our guide for the trip Yavuz Kirikci, better known around the world as "Kev". Turkey is an amazing place to visit with the tour having a fantastic balance between travel and holiday (3 nights on the Gulet). Highly recommend for anyone looking to have a really local and authentic Turkish experienceShow moreTrip date: July 2019Review collected by Travel Talk
- AJ. Antunovich· December 6th, 2023I have just returned from a 12 day tour of Turkey. I cannot fault my experience in any way. From the moment we landed at the airport to the moment we flew out, Travel Talk took care of everything and insured we had an amazing trip!Show moreTrip date: June 2019Review collected by Travel Talk

Traveler•Written March 2025Is it possible to choose a different accommodation for this tour? Specifically, for the Cappadocia leg, is there an option to stay at a cave hotel?
- Travel TalkOperator•Written March 2025
It's not possible to choose a different accommodation for this tour. The standard accommodations are included. If you want to stay at a cave hotel in Cappadocia, you can book it directly with the hotel, but it would be at your own expense.

Asked on January 13th, 2025We want to go to Antalya at the end of the tour instead of Istanbul. Is this possible for same price? Also, my husband is a very young, fit and healthy 60 year old, how strict is the age range?
- Travel TalkOperator•Written January 2025
We do not have the option to alter the end destination of the tour to Antalya instead of Istanbul at the same price. Regarding the age range, there's absolutely no issue with your husband joining the tour. We welcome travelers of all ages, and it's wonderful to hear he is fit and active—it sounds like he'll have no trouble keeping up with the activities!

Traveler•Written January 2025If we want to go from Cappadocia to Antalya on the last day of tour, instead of Istanbul, we would have to pay that ourselves? Would there be any discount for not requiring flights back to Istanbul?

You may leave the tour early as you prefer; however, as our tours are package deals, the tour price will not be reduced for services unrendered.
