The opportunity to spend several days in Puno and Cusco prior to embarking on the hike was key to our being acclimated to the altitude before we began our hike.Show more
G Adventures commented on this reviewHi! So great to hear! Thank you for reaching out.Trip date: January 2022Review collected by G Adventures - ATamara Sheppard· September 25th, 2022Our Peru and Inca Trail trip with GAdventures was outstanding. This was our 7th adventure with G and I cannot imagine traveling any other way. G takes us off the beaten track, tests our limits, challenges our assumptions, teaches us local culture and customs, and introduces us to fabulous fellow travellers and local guides (CEOs). The G for Good and Planetaria initiatives are always heartwarming, and the opportunity to homestay is unique and personal. Thanks again, until next time? Tamara S. Calgary, Alberta Canada 🇨🇦Show more

Asked on November 5th, 20241. Is there any hidden cost apart from the discounted price. 2. What is the expected optional cost for added itinerary. 3. Pls give me a breakdown of the distance and time of journey between places 4. What types of vehicles we will be travelling in throughout the 12 days. 5. Will there be any further discount. 6. What about Wi-Fi
G AdventuresOperator•Written November 2024There are no hidden costs but you must factor in food, optional activities, visas, international flights etc. The optional activities and prices are below; Lima - Lima Cooking Class (4hrs) - Huacas and Larco Museum by Night (90USD per person) - Lima City Tour (40USD per person). Puno - Sillustani Burial Towers Entrance (59PEN per person). Lake Titicaca - Lake Titicaca Kayaking. Ollantaytambo - Ollantaytambo Storehouse Ruins and Hike. Cusco - Mountain Biking - Horseback Riding (150PEN per person) - Rainbow Mountain Hike - Full-day Trip - Cusco Cooking Class - Inka Museum (10PEN per person) - Cusco Tourist Ticket (130PEN per person) - Cusco City Tour (45PEN per person). Transportation will be a mix of public bus, private van, plane, train, boat, hiking. Driving times vary from between 1 hour to 9 hours, depending on the day. The price advertised is the best that is currently available although new discounts can be added in future, once you book your trip it would be locked in at the price that you paid. As a lot of this tour is remote, there will be no wifi and limited cellular service available for much of the trek.
