Tromsø
You'll arrive in Tromsø and get met by your Trip Manager and Contiki crew. After settling in, you're ready to start exploring the Arctic. The landscape here is something special with dramatic fjords and mountains, and if conditions are right, you might catch the Northern Lights dancing across the sky.

Landmarks/POIs Tromsø - Day 2
Arctic Fjords
This morning starts early for some Arctic action out on the fjords. There's an optional hybrid-electric boat tour where you'll glide through the water with wide-open views. You'll have chances to spot seals lounging on ice, and if you're lucky, humpback whales or orcas might swim past.

Landmarks/POIs Arctic Fjords - Day 3
Tromsø to Skjerværy (Hurtigruten Cruise)
The morning is free, so you can do whatever you want in Tromsø. One option is taking the cable car up Mount Storsteinen for views across the city and surrounding landscape. Or you could try the polar plunge followed by a sauna if you're feeling bold. Later in the afternoon, you'll board the Hurtigruten ship and sail south toward Skjerværy along Norway's wild coast, watching for Northern Lights.

Landmarks/POIs Mount Storsteinen Tromsdalstinden - Day 4
Honningsvåg - North Cape
You'll sail through Magerøysund sound, stopping early in Hammerfest before heading to Honningsvåg. There's an optional excursion to North Cape, which is Europe's northernmost point. As the ship continues along Lapland's coast, you'll pass Finnkjerka, a rock formation that's sacred to the Sami people. Keep your eyes open through the evening for the Northern Lights.

Landmarks/POIs Magerøysund Hammerfest Honningsvåg North Cape Finnkjerka - Day 5
Kirkenes
The ship pulls into Kirkenes, the northernmost port on this route and further east than Istanbul with Russia's border close by. You'll get to try dogsledding with experienced mushers and a team of huskies. After that, explore the town known for creating the first hotel built entirely from snow and ice.

Landmarks/POIs Kirkenes - Day 6
Kirkenes to Tromsø
You'll fly back to Tromsø from Kirkenes, and the afternoon is yours to explore. There's an optional cultural experience with the Sami people where you'll visit a traditional camp, see reindeer herds, learn inside a lavvo hut, and get insight into how Arctic indigenous communities live and work.
