- JJamesCorbett· November 23rd, 2019Apart from the coach breaking down near Amman the tour was excellent. Abdullah especially.Show moreAbraham Tours commented on this reviewHey James! Thanks for your ratings and your review :) Best, TayTrip date: November 2019
- RRaymondSicard· November 11th, 2019Automatic translation available in English. View in EnglishThe guide was excellent and very friendly. The tour was very good, with just one black mark at the end: waiting an hour at the border for another group to join us before taking the bus to Jerusalem.Show moreAbraham Tours commented on this reviewHi, Thank you for the kind review and ratings. I'm happy to hear that you found the guide to be excellent. Kind Regards, TayTrip date: November 2019
- SStephenCaswell· November 5th, 2019Amazing tour ... Just amazing ... Even the border crossings were interesting because we saw how both countries (Israel and Jordan) handled entry and exit. Both Jerash and Petra also exceeeded expectations. We toured Israel first, so we were amazed at the Roman ruins in Jerash, which were much more extensive than in Israel ... We also stayed in the Bedouin camp overnight, which was quite rustic, but for one night absolutely worth it ... Just don’t expect it to be a hotel with private bathroom, etc. And Petra was just incredible ... We have walking issues, but we’re able to take a carriage on the long walk to the Treasury, then we took donkeys to the Monastery and back ... It was amazing how the donkeys made the long trek up the 850 steps and steep slope to the Monastery and then down again ... We’ve been on a number of trail rides and this pretty much topped them all. As long as you’re willing to take Jordan on it’s terms and not expect a 4 or 5 star experience, it’s a fantastic trip ... There’s a reason why Petra is one of the 7 wonders of the world and seeing it with your own eyes is amazing. Also, staying near Petra is a must to beat the crowds in the morning ... Lots of people want to see Petra, so getting there early as we did was great ...Show moreAbraham Tours commented on this reviewHi Stephen, thank you for taking the time to write about your Petra tour! Your kind review is much appreciated. Indeed the accommodation in Jordan in a 'camping' experience and of course the sights are truly amazing! Looking forward to having you with... - NNataliePickett· October 1st, 2019The only thing to improve would be the bus driver on the way home did not tell us nothing would be open for dinner because of the holiday. If he had told us that, we could have bought food at the gas station we stopped at.Show moreAbraham Tours commented on this reviewHey Natalie Thanks for the review. I understand the difficulty of traveling around Israel during the holiday times. We are trying our best to make easier for our travelers. Best, YoniTrip date: September 2019
- RRan· September 23rd, 2019One of the best tour experiences in my life! Our Jordanian guide was so considerate, humorous, and knowledgeable. Everything was organized on time and smooth even for crossing border process. He made our trip unforgettable! If I have to mention improvement points, there was no hot water running at the bathroom of Bedouin camp site in the morning. It would have been great if we have more information about the power cutting hours.Show moreAbraham Tours commented on this reviewHey Ran. Asked on March 29th, 2022Does this do the northern route through Amman or South with Wadi Rum? Exactly which accommodation is provided. We have heard some has no hot water and communal rooms. We need a double room. Is there an option to upgrade accommodation and what is it? What time does the tour leave Jerusalem?
- Abraham ToursOperator•Written March 2022
1. This tour takes the southern route through Wadi Rum. 2+3. The standard stay for the tour is in tents at a Bedouin campsite. The tents are clean, well isolated, and have comfortable beds with bedsheets and blankets. The campsite's bathrooms and showers are shared, located in a separate building, and are clean, neat, and have hot and running water. The tents are for two persons, with double or twin beds. Sole travelers will share a tent with someone else from the tour of the same gender. Upgrading for a private tent is possible for an extra 150 ILS per night. There is a possibility not to stay at the campsite and instead upgrade to a 3-star hotel for an additional 260 ILS per room per night. 4. The tour departs at 7 am from the Abraham Hostel in Jerusalem.
