Pretoria to Mpumalanga
Your African adventure starts as you leave Pretoria and head east toward Mpumalanga Province. The landscapes shift and change as you travel, making your way to where the group tour begins. It's a long drive through different terrain, so settle in for the journey and get your first real sense of South Africa's geography.

Kruger National Park
Early this morning you'll head out on an open vehicle game drive through Kruger National Park with a guide who knows the reserve inside and out. The park is home to over 500 bird species and 150 mammal species, so keep your eyes open and camera ready. You'll spend most of the day scanning for wildlife, and there's a good chance you'll see everything from big cats to elephants to zebras.

- Day 3
Mpumalanga to Tshipise
After leaving Kruger, you'll travel north into mountainous countryside heading toward Tshipise. Once you arrive at the resort, you'll find natural hot springs that feed into heated pools. After hours in the vehicle, you can spend the afternoon and evening relaxing in the warm therapeutic waters.

Tshipise to Matobo National Park
Following breakfast, you'll cross the border into Zimbabwe and head toward Matobo National Park. The drive takes you through the countryside, and you'll stop in Bulawayo to pick up supplies and stretch your legs. By evening you'll reach your campsite in Matobo, settling in for the night in this remote region.

Matobo National Park
Matobo National Park doesn't get as much attention as some other destinations, but it's worth the visit. You'll take a guided walk through the park with an expert who'll help you spot wildlife and navigate the landscape safely. The combination of natural scenery and historical significance makes this a worthwhile day to see something a bit different.

- Day 6
Matobo National Park to Livingstone
You'll travel through the Zimbabwean countryside toward Victoria Falls, then cross into Zambia to reach Livingstone. This is your final night with the group, so it's a good time to reflect on the week and spend time getting to know your fellow travelers. There's something special about that last evening together.

Livingstone
On your final day, you have choices to make. Victoria Falls is right there if you want to see it up close. The David Livingstone Museum is an option if you're interested in learning the region's history. Or you could spend time meeting locals and learning how people actually live here. After that, your African adventure comes to an end.
