We had a great guide who kept us organised and shared many interesting facts and experiences of life in these countries. There are some long travel days but these are unavoidable on a tour of this length. Most hotels were pleasant and well-placed (Riga was probably the best, but two nights at Klaipeda was not so good).Show more

Trip date: August 2024- THTimothy· July 8th, 2024Beautiful scenery through the Baltic forests. Tour leaders were amiable enough, but bikes could have been better maintained. My bike had pedal with stripped threads (how is that not caught with a proper inspection?), so wound up having to use a ‘spare’ bike for the duration which was a little on the large side. Also, bikes were heavy to start with and tires seemed chronically under-inflated. They didn’t have a working tire gauge; checked inflation by ‘feel’, so couldn’t even objectively address the concern that one of my tires was leaking. Electric bikes (e-bikes) are available for an additional cost of £182. These are Kalkhoff Endeavour or Ecobike X-Cross bikes. Frame sizes are small and medium, suitable for those between 150cm and 182cm in height. Subject to availability on first come first served basis and cost may change. Helmets are not included in our cycling trips. The Bike is included in the overall tour price yes. We also have Ebikes which are available upon request at a cost of £155 per person. These are subject to availability as there are only 6 Ebikes available per trip.
