- SISophie· March 21st, 2020Felt like Crispy (Crispen) and Harmony the driver looked after us so well amidst the Coronavirus crisis. Even though everything was up in arms they made sure we were fed, watered and staying at appropriate accomodation often at short notice as things shifted so rapidly. Thanks so much guys! - JJoeBooysen· October 7th, 2018G was an amazing guide. We are going to do another tour with even more friends because of how good he was. Next time we go on a tour then in going to do whichever tour where he is the guide. Apart from being friendly and an all round good person he went over and above his call of duty for me when I got sick...having driven over an hour to the nearest hospital and waiting for 3 hours until I was done..all with a smile on his face. Thanks G. Kind regards, JoeShow moreAcacia Adventure Holidays commented on this reviewHi Joe, Thank you for taking the time to write about your experience. Asked on February 2nd, 2025We are wondering what the quality of the WIFI will be like each night of this tour as we are hoping to be able to take video calls in the evenings for work. Also, we have insulin that we need to keep cold. Is it possible to freeze ice packs each night at the accommodations and will there be a cooler with us when we travel?
- Acacia Adventure HolidaysOperator•Written February 2025
WIFI - most properties offer reasonable connectivity but I would not wish to guarantee it at all times. Outside the main centres infrastructure including connectivity, Wifi, Signal is not always certain. Vehicles have fridge/ freezers but it is not for client medicines. Overnight some properties will be happy to store your meds in the refrigerators but many operate on generators and so again - they will not accept liability for damage due to unstable temperatures.

Traveler•Written February 2025Regarding keeping the medication cool, we are wondering if we brought our own small cooler, would it be possible to fill it with ice occasionally?
- Acacia Adventure HolidaysOperator•Written February 2025
Filling a cooler or insulated bag with ice should not be a problem. Some of the accommodations may do it free or else you can buy it in most places.

Connie
Traveler•Written February 2025How many travelers have reserved a spot for the July 12 departure at the present moment? How many travelers are needed to guarantee that departure?
- Acacia Adventure HolidaysOperator•Written February 2025
The 12 July departure has 1 person confirmed. We generally look for 4-5 people before we can guarantee. The 26 July departure has 3 people confirmed and we had had a number of enquiries for that departure which makes us feel more confident in guaranteeing it.

Connie
Traveler•Written February 2025Is there any chance of doing the itinerary backwards and starting in Durban, ending in Pretoria?
- Acacia Adventure HolidaysOperator•Written February 2025
The KSB7A tour does not run in the reverse direction. I can only offer you start Pretoria 26July/ end Durban 01Aug.

Connie
Traveler•Written February 2025What should our next steps be?
- Acacia Adventure HolidaysOperator•Written February 2025
The next step is to follow the booking process on the Tour Radar portal which would mean completing the Travellers Details tab and using the 'book now' button which will probably ask you to put down a deposit. That will generate a message to us and the booking will be confirmed.

Connie
Traveler•Written March 2025Can you please note what those will be for this trip?
- Acacia Adventure HolidaysOperator•Written March 2025
We can arrange the Safari Pass in advance if you wish, but we usually do that much closer to the departure. No need to worry about that at this stage.
