Windhoek
You'll arrive in Windhoek whenever works for your flight. Tonight you're meeting up with your CEO and the rest of the group at a local restaurant for dinner and drinks. It's a chance to get to know the other travelers before the real adventure kicks off tomorrow.

Landmarks/POIs Windhoek - Day 2
Windhoek to D'kar
After crossing into Botswana, you'll head east toward D'kar in the heart of the Kalahari. Once there, you'll spend time learning about how the San Bushmen have adapted to this tough environment. You're staying at the G Adventures-supported Dqae Qare San Lodge & Camp, which means your money goes directly back into the community while you experience their culture and history around the fire.

D'kar to Maun
Today you travel by land from D'kar to Maun, pulling in around lunchtime. The afternoon is yours to relax at camp, write in your journal, or snap photos. If you're up for it, there's an option to take a scenic helicopter flight over the Okavango Delta for a different perspective on the landscape. When evening comes, you'll set up camp and look for shooting stars from your sleeping bag.

Landmarks/POIs Okavango Delta - Day 4
Maun to Okavango Delta
You'll wake early to the sounds of the bush before heading out on an overnight trip into the Okavango Delta. You'll travel in a traditional mokoro dugout canoe with time for birdwatching. By lunchtime you're at the basic bush camp setting everything up. After that, a wildlife walk teaches you about animal tracking and behavior. Around the campfire later, you and the group can count stars and wind down.

Landmarks/POIs Okavango Delta - Day 5
Okavango Delta to Gweta
The sunrise comes with pinks, oranges, and reds spreading across the sky. You'll take one last safari walk with cameras ready before paddling back to Maun in a mokoro. From there, it's a drive to Gweta where ancient baobab trees are waiting. You'll have time to photograph them, take a swim, and enjoy a real shower after the night in the bush.

Gweta to Kasane
Starting early, you'll travel north to Kasane through grasslands between Gweta and Kasane. The landscape is full of antelope and predators, especially after seasonal rains have brought everything back to life. Before arriving in Kasane, there's an option for a river cruise through Chobe National Park. You'll camp under the stars that night and toast to how far you've come.

Kasane to Victoria Falls
If you want to get up early, there's a safari drive in Chobe National Park before you cross into Zimbabwe. Heading toward Victoria Falls, you'll stop for a traditional lunch at the G Adventures-supported Lusumpuko Women's Club. Continuing on, you'll start feeling the mist in the air as you approach the falls. The town becomes your base for the next part of your trip.

Victoria Falls
You've got the full day to experience Victoria Falls on your own schedule. Head to the observation deck and get close enough to feel the spray from the thundering water. If you're up for adventure, there are optional activities available like whitewater rafting on the Zambezi, scenic helicopter flights, or bungee jumping with the falls as your backdrop. You can arrange these activities beforehand or book them once you arrive.
