Itinerary
- Day 1
Sandnes to Sirdal
You'll start with breakfast at the hotel, then load your gear into the support vehicle before cycling through gentle hills on quiet roads toward Lauvvik. From there, a ferry takes you through Lysefjorden where you'll see Preikestolen and pass near Kjerag. The real challenge comes after Lysebotn: the famous climb with 27 hairpin bends (averaging 10% grade, hitting 15% at steepest sections) winds through a tunnel with a water stop at Øygårdstøl (640m). Once you reach the 932-meter summit with its otherworldly terrain, it's mostly downhill back to your hotel. Dinner happens in the firehouse with local cuisine.

- Day 2
Sirdal to Egersund
This is your longest ride at 98km, heading from the mountain interior toward the coast. You'll bike from Sirdalen through scenic country past Sinnes and Valevatn, stopping at Byrkjedalstunet for traditional lapper. After that comes Gloppedalsura, Northern Europe's biggest boulder field, then past the Vinjevatn lakes to Bjerkreim where there's a coffee stop at Myksvoll Microbrewery. The final stretch descends into coastal terrain and brings you to Egersund for a two-night stay at Grand Hotel Egersund. That evening includes dinner with a slideshow of the day's photos.

Egersund
You'll spend the day exploring the Magma UNESCO Global Geopark on a 77km roundtrip from Egersund. The route follows Rv44 to Jøssingfjord where you visit the Science Museum and get a guided tour of Helleren, learning about historical Norwegian life and the WWII attack on the German warship Altmark. Cycling back takes you through quiet countryside to Sogndalstrand for lunch at a cultural hotel. The return to Egersund goes via Rekefjord. Afternoon and evening are free to wander Egersund's streets and shops before gathering for dinner with more photos from the ride.

Egersund to Sola
Today's 91km ride follows Norway's North Sea coast, passing through Hellvik, Sirevåg, and Brusand. You'll stop for lunch at Hå Gamle Prestegard, a former vicarage and cultural center. From there, you continue toward Sola with views of Norway's longest white sandy beaches and flat farmland stretching out. The mostly flat terrain might work in your favor with good wind conditions. You'll arrive at Sola Strand Hotel, which has spa facilities for relaxing afterward. Evening brings dinner with the day's photos, and there are optional beach activities if you're interested.

- Day 5
Sola to Stavanger
You've got 79km of riding today heading toward Stavanger through urban and varied terrain. Start with a tour of Sola Ruinkirke near the hotel, then pass through industrial areas like Risavika and Tananger port to reach Tungenes lighthouse. From there, bike paths take you into Stavanger's city center to explore Old Stavanger with its well-preserved wooden houses from Northern Europe. You'll ride through Vågen and Storhaug, then toward Gandsfjorden learning about Norway's oil heritage. Later comes Norway's only cycle highway, the notorious Grisabakken climb (famous from Tour of Norway races), a photo stop at Ullandhaugtårnet, and finish at the Swords in Rock monument. The day ends at Victoria Hotel with a farewell dinner.

In the morning, you'll transfer from Hotel Victoria to Sola Airport by car or shuttle bus. The timing depends on when your group's flights depart. If you've booked optional extensions separately, those would start from here.
