Arrival in Bogotá
You'll land at El Dorado Airport and meet your private driver for the 30-60 minute ride into Bogotá. Your English-speaking guide shares local tips and recommendations during the drive, getting you oriented before reaching your hotel.

Bogotá
Start at Paloquemao Market, a cultural hub in a former railroad warehouse where you can browse tropical fruits and local goods. From there, you'll walk through La Candelaria's historic sites including the Colón Theater, San Carlos Palace, San Ignacio Church, Nariño Presidential Palace, Bolívar Square, City Hall, and the Cathedral. Later you'll visit the Museo de Oro before finishing with a cable car ride up Monserrate Hill for views of the city.

Bogotá to The Coffee Region
You're driven to Bogotá airport for a domestic flight into the Coffee Region. After landing, head straight to a local coffee farm for a warm welcome and fresh coffee. You'll tour the plantations with expert guides learning how coffee goes from planting and harvesting through drying, roasting, and grinding, plus participate in a tasting session. Then transfer to your hotel to rest.

Your guide picks you up to explore the coffee region's landscape. You'll start in Filandia, walking through colorful colonial streets and checking out the Quindío viewpoint for views of the valley. Later you head to Cocora Valley to see the world's tallest wax palms surrounded by misty forests. Then continue to Salento, a village with cobblestone streets and craft workshops plus another viewpoint. You'll return to your hotel as evening arrives.

The Coffee Region to Medellín
After a private transfer to the airport and domestic flight, you'll arrive in Medellín. The day starts with a city tour visiting the Botanical Garden and Ruta N Technology Center. You'll take a MetroCable ride, an aerial cable car that locals take pride in, then visit Comuna 13. After that, walk around Botero Square which has 23 bronze sculptures before heading back to your hotel.

You'll travel outside Medellín to El Peñol and Guatapé through lush landscapes. See the Guatapé Reservoir spanning 64 square kilometers and optionally climb the 649 steps of the Rock of Guatapé for 360-degree views. Explore Guatapé, known as Colombia's most colorful town, via tuk-tuk tour. Later enjoy a private boat ride through the reservoir and lunch with great views.

Medellín to Santa Marta
After breakfast at your hotel, you'll head to the airport for a domestic flight to Santa Marta. Your driver meets you for the 20-75 minute ride to your hotel depending on the location. The rest of the day is free for you to relax and prepare for a nature hike tomorrow.

Santa Marta/Tayrona
You'll hike through Tayrona National Park, a nature sanctuary with forests, mangroves, and coral areas. The park has over 100 mammal species like howling monkeys and over 300 bird species. Your local guide leads a medium-intensity 2.5-hour hike each way to Cabo San Juan where you can swim and eat lunch by the shore. Hotel pickup and drop-off with transportation included.

Santa Marta to Cartagena
After breakfast, you're driven from Santa Marta to Cartagena on a scenic 4-5 hour journey. Once settled, around 3 or 4 in the afternoon your guide shows you the historic walled city and its plazas. You'll walk past the Church and Monastery of San Pedro Claver and the Cathedral, then through colorful cobbled streets. Later visit El Castillo de San Felipe de Barajas and La Popa Convent for views, and finish in Getsemaní's artistic district.
