Itinerary
- Day 1
Madrid - San Sebastián - Bordeaux
Your tour kicks off in Madrid and heads toward the Basque Country. Once you reach San Sebastián, you'll walk along La Concha Beach and spend some time in the old town trying local wines. After that, you'll cross into France and arrive in Bordeaux in the late afternoon, giving you a chance to wander around the city center before evening.

Bordeaux to Lourdes
Start the morning exploring Bordeaux's UNESCO World Heritage center, checking out the Water Mirror and wandering through the historic old town with its 11th-century cathedral. In the afternoon, you'll head through the Pyrenees toward Lourdes, arriving mid-afternoon with time to visit the sanctuary.

Lourdes to Marseille
This day takes you through southern France with stops in Carcassonne where you can explore its medieval walls, then on to Narbonne to see the historic Occitan old town. Later you'll reach Marseille, France's second-largest city. Spend time walking through the vibrant Vieux-Port area with its small restaurants and waterfront atmosphere.

Marseille to Lyon
You'll start in Arles and discover its Roman and medieval sites, then head to the medieval village of Les Baux where you have admission to the Carrières de Lumières underground show. After that, continue to Avignon to explore the Palais des Papes before reaching Lyon. In Lyon, walk through the World Heritage old town and take the cable car up to Notre-Dame de Fourvière basilica for city views.

Lyon to Dijon
Heading to Burgundy, you'll stop in Tournus to see its stone gate and large abbey. Then arrive in Beaune, the wine capital of Burgundy, where you'll have time for lunch and can visit the wine museum or historic hospice. Next is Savigny Castle with its collections of motorbikes, racing cars, planes and helicopters. The day ends in Dijon, Burgundy's capital, where you can see medieval and Renaissance buildings including the Palace of the Dukes.

You'll visit Riquewihr, a medieval town with cobblestone streets, and tour a local winery for wine tasting and regional sweets. This brings you to Strasbourg by evening.
