Madrid
You'll arrive in Madrid and meet up with your tour group and leader at the hotel. After settling in, there's an orientation tour that hits the city's main attractions, then you have free time to explore on your own. Later this evening, join everyone for the included welcome dinner to kick things off.

Toledo - Granada
Head out to Toledo first, where you'll walk through this ancient UNESCO walled town with its Gothic architecture and impressive Cathedral. From there, continue south to Granada for an orientation tour of this Moorish city. If you're interested, there's an optional local food and wine pairing dinner available, but you'd need to book it ahead of time.

Ronda - Seville
Spend your morning in Granada exploring on your own or taking the optional Alhambra Palace excursion if you pre-booked it. Next, head to Ronda, which sits high above the Tajo Gorge and has the famous Puente Nuevo bridge you'll see while grabbing lunch. Then continue to Seville for a driving tour and some free time at Plaza de Espana before checking into your hotel. An included dinner wraps up the day.

Seville
Start with a guided city tour led by a local expert who knows Seville well. The afternoon is yours to spend however you like, whether that's visiting the Alcazar Palace, checking out views from Metropol Parasol, exploring the Museum of Flamenco, or just wandering the streets. Later, if you want to experience Seville's tapas and flamenco scene, there's an optional evening excursion available.

Algarve - Lisbon
You'll travel to Lisbon by passing through the Algarve region, where you'll see beautiful beaches and dramatic cliffs. There's a stop at one of the beaches if you want to relax or take a swim. Once in Lisbon, there's an orientation tour featuring Sao Jorge Castle and the colorful old town. An included dinner is waiting for you this evening.

Lisbon
Explore Lisbon's sites like the Monument of the Discoveries and Belem Tower, or head up to the hilltop district of Bairro Alto. Alternatively, you can choose the optional excursion to Sintra, a UNESCO village known for Pena Palace, or visit Fatima, Portugal's most popular pilgrimage destination. By evening, check out traditional Fado music in one of the nearby bars.

Obidos - Porto
Travel to Porto with a stop in Obidos, a medieval fortified town with cobblestone streets and a castle. Once you reach Porto, where Port wine comes from, you'll get a guided walking and driving tour covering the Ponte Dom Luis bridge and Clerigos Tower. There's an included Port wine tasting, and if you're interested, an optional evening Douro river cruise with dinner is also available.

Ciudad Rodrigo - Salamanca
Leave Portugal and travel through countryside to reach Salamanca in Spain. You'll stop in Ciudad Rodrigo, a cathedral city with old defensive walls surrounding it. After arriving in Salamanca, there's a guided tour of the old and new cathedrals, the University, and the Casa Lis museum. You'll have free time in Plaza Mayor, then finish with an included three-course regional dinner.

Avila - Madrid
On your final day, travel from Salamanca to Avila, a city known for its many Romanesque and Gothic churches and well-preserved medieval walls. From there, head back to Madrid where the tour wraps up. Before leaving, exchange contact information with the friends you've made to stay in touch after the trip.
