  1. Day 1

    Taipei

    You'll land in Taipei and head to your hotel for check-in. If your flight gets in early enough, you can go up Taipei 101 for views across the city, or skip that and spend the evening walking through neighborhood food stalls instead. Look for pearl milk tea, fried chicken fillet, and stinky tofu if you're feeling adventurous. The travel agency will send you your check-in details and contact information before you leave.

  2. Day 2

    Yeliu Geopark - Jiufen Village - Shifen Waterfall - Shifen Old Street

    Start the day at Yeliu Geopark to walk around the naturally sculpted rock formations, particularly the famous Queen's Head. From there, head to Jiufen Village where you'll see the 1940s architecture and grab some local delicacies like taro balls while taking in the lantern-lit streets. Later you'll see Shifen Waterfall, which is Taiwan's version of Niagara Falls. End your day at Shifen Old Street where you can write wishes on a sky lantern and release it into the night.

    Geothermal Valley - Tamsui Cultural Tour

    Check out the Beitou Hot Spring Museum, which is housed in a historic Japanese-era bathhouse building. Then visit Geothermal Valley to see the hot springs with sulfur vapors rising up. In the afternoon, travel to Tamsui for a walking tour that includes the Hobe Mackay Clinic, Fort San Domingo, and the Former British Merchant Residence. End your day at Fisherman's Wharf watching the sunset and crossing Lover's Bridge.

    Dadaocheng - Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall - Taipei 101

    Spend the morning at the National Palace Museum looking at the famous Jadeite Cabbage and Meat-Shaped Stone, plus hundreds of thousands of other ancient pieces. After lunch, walk through Dadaocheng's nostalgic streets and browse Dihua Street's traditional shops and cafes. Next stop is Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall to see the changing of the guard ceremony. Finish with shopping and dinner at Taipei 101 Mall.

Try a lake cruise with unlimited rides between three piers, or ride the Water Bicycle Path if you prefer something more active.

You'll also do a tea tasting to experience Taiwan's tea culture, then explore Chiayi, where the Alishan Forest Railway starts.

Then experience Yilan Traditional Art Center with daily Taiwanese opera and glove puppetry shows, plus hands-on workshops in indigo dyeing and wood carving. You'll also see a recreated 1930s-40s village. Wrap up your 10-day tour by returning to Ximending Shopping District in Taipei.

    • For any tour departing before February 5th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after February 5th, 2026, a minimum payment of $150 is required to confirm your booking with UME Travel Co. Ltd. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
