- JJason· April 18th, 2024For those with limited time this is a good and varied introductory trek with 3 full days walking, starting from and ending in Kathmandu. It is also very quiet - very few other trekkers. Hotels are surprisingly good. I did this trek in mid-April, visibility was quite poor, and now most trekking trails on Day 3 have been made into roads, this is of course neither the guide or the Tour Operator's fault, I highly recommend Mountain Rock and will be coming back to do another trek with them. Before my flight, I had to take an short trek near Kathmandu, which is almost famous as Everest and Annapurna treks. So, my latest adventure was the Chisapani Nagarkot Dhulikhel Trek, which was absolutely worth it. The best highlight of this trek was visiting Shivapuri national park and participating in canyoning and rock climbing for me.
