I even had my own English speaking guide for each excursion. The food was excellent and the overall ambience of the river cruise was thoroughly enjoyable. - CTConstance· November 3rd, 2018this is my 3rd river cruise...the first two with Gate 1 which I loved... and I am glad it was not my first because I would never have done another one. The cabins were very cramped and the shower was nearly impossible. However the staff onboard were some of the finest I have ever encountered. Asked on December 22nd, 2022Can the trips be reversed? ie See tha Azores first, then onto the Douro? Is the airfare from mainland Portugal to the Azores paid as part of the trip?

The only way that you will be able to do both the trips back to back and by doing an Azores trip first is with these dates: Azores trip from 11-17th June 2023, followed by Porto, the Douro valley (Portugal) and Salamanca (Spain) cruise from 17-22nd June 2023.

Traveler•Written December 2022The thought of doing Douro and Azores is very appealing. From what I see is there may be very few dates to co-ordinate both. Can you see what possibilities would be available if we said anytime is good between mid May and mid July?

Traveler•Written December 2022The least expensive cabin would be our choice. In the last 10 years we have done 4 river cruises. 3 with the least expensive and one other. We always found the least expensive to be great. Please send us a quote. AND where do we catch the flight to the Azores.

Traveler•Written December 2022I am confused. The Porto cruises and Azores seem to be very limited in their number and dates. Does TourRadar handle both river cruises and bus tours?

TourRadar is a platform that sells Trafalgar land tours as well. The difference is that for Trafalgar tours, questions are answered by the Trafalgar team, but booking is done through TourRadar's booking portal.
