- UUaS· May 4th, 2019We took this tour based on friend's recommendations. The entire tour was well organized. Accommodations were fine, and the included meals were generally very good. A few observations: a few hotels with large local clienteles were difficult for us to deal with. The huge crowd during meal time and the extreme high volume noise level made it impossible to enjoy the food. We were simply pushed aside many times waiting to get our food. A couple lunches and dinners were also "too local", making it hard to experience the true intend of those dishes. - MCMark· April 28th, 2019One small Feedback, I Paid 125 NTD for my City bus transporation from Hotel Evergreen Laurel to Taipeh Airport the day after the packaged tour ended. I was informed in Advance, that People arriving too early or leaving after the Group tour, will not be given a ride to the Airport or picked up from there. But, given the entire expense of the trip - I don't see why the tour Agency can not offer to provide such bus tickets in Advance to those that have to get to the Airport shortly afterwards. I was also not informed, that from the Airport I could have taken that Evergreen Shuttle bus directly to my Hotel - instead of paying 1200 NTD for my taxi ride. My flight was delayed to Taipeh, so probably I would not have made that last shuttle bus anyhow - but for future trips - I think that possibility could be made clearer for new arrivals to the Country. It was a beautiful, varied tour with lots of interesting information on Taiwan’s indigenous people and the history and occupation of the Island. The accommodation was first class - three hot spring hotels are in the itinerary and there were massive hot spring fed bath tubs in the hotel rooms in addition to the public hot-spring spa’s. Our tour guide Iping was sweet, patient and very knowledgeable - she really made the history of the places we visited come alive - nothing was too much trouble for her and she made everything run smoothly. The only issue i had - as someone who doesn’t like seafood - is that many of the lunches and evening meals were fish and seafood based, the alternative food provided for me was average in flavour and quality and not up to the standard of the rest of the tour. Standard hotels are TWN (2 bed) rooms. TRIPLE (3 bed) rooms are limited and not guaranteed in all hotels. Triples are suitable for families with small children who can share a bed with a parent - not recommended for three adults.

Our December 20th departure is full, and our operations department has closed that tour date. We have a tour date for Taiwan Island on November 27th, 2023, or a January 8th, 2024 departure.

Asked on October 27th, 2023We are very interested in this particular tour. However, we would be coming from San Francisco into Taipei, on November 27, at about 6 am. Is this a problem with joining the tour? Is it possible to do? How much would we miss? We have no other flexibility with dates.

Regarding joining 1-day later, it might not be entirely ideal, but I will check with our operations department. On the first official day of tour, we are in Taipei and later make our way to Jiaosi. Our tour activities generally start at ~8:30AM. We do not offer complementary pick-up services outside the arrival date of each tour. We can arrange a private transfer, but it might be more inexpensive to take a taxi from TPE to Okura Prestige is anywhere from $35 to about $50USD.

Great news! Our operations department confirmed that we can accept your reservation. We will arrange transportation to pick you up at the airport on 28th Nov. If your flight is not delayed, we should be able to take you directly to the Taipei Okura Hotel to join the group. In case of a flight delay or traffic congestion, we will assess the situation on the day and consider either taking you to the National Palace Museum or Din Tai Fung.
