Hanoi
You'll meet up in Hanoi around midday and grab lunch together. After that, spend the afternoon checking out Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, his former stilt house, the One Pillar Pagoda, and the Temple of Literature. Later, a pedi-cab takes you to Ngoc Son temple before dinner. Then you'll head to your four-star hotel for the night.

Hanoi to Halong Bay
Start early this morning for the drive to Halong Bay, which takes about 3.5 hours. Once you arrive, board your cruise ship and have a welcome cocktail. You'll spend the afternoon exploring the limestone islands scattered throughout the emerald-colored bay. Lunch and dinner happen on board, and you'll settle in for the night while the ship stays anchored.

Halong Bay to Hanoi
Get up early for a Tai Chi class on deck to start your morning. Continue exploring Halong Bay and visit one of the region's largest caves. By brunch time, you'll head back to the ship before disembarking at 11:00 a.m. The drive back to Hanoi includes a stop at Dinh Bang communal hall where you'll taste pho soup. This evening features a traditional water puppetry show and dinner in the city before returning to your four-star hotel.

Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City

After that, head to Cholon, the Chinese-influenced district, to walk through the busy market and see Thien Hau temple. Then transfer to your ship, get settled in your cabin, and enjoy a welcome cocktail with the crew before dinner and your first night on board.

You have the choice to either spend free time on the ship or visit the Cu Chi tunnels, an extensive underground network from the Vietnam War. Lunch comes next, followed by a visit to the Museum of Vietnamese History. From there, your ship begins cruising toward the Cho Gao canal, where you'll stay the night on board.

Mekong Delta
The day involves cruising through the Cho Gao Canal to see how local life revolves around fishing, farming, and river transport. In My Tho, you'll stop at a bee farm to try honey tea and exotic fruit, then take a sampan ride past mangrove palms. Lunch happens on board. Later, you'll reach Vinh Long in the Mekong Delta to tour a brick and pottery factory and learn about puffed rice, rice-paper wrappers, and rice alcohol production. The night is spent on board.
