Itinerary
- Day 1
Milan
You'll land at Milano Malpensa Airport and head to your hotel to check in. Once you're settled, the afternoon is yours to walk around and get a feel for the city. Later, make your way to the Duomo di Milano and spend some time in Piazza del Duomo. After that, you can walk through the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II shopping arcade, which connects the piazza to the main train station and has some great shops and cafes.

Milan
You'll have breakfast, then join a local guide for the full day in Milan. This morning includes Sforza Castle with its museums inside, and Santa Maria delle Grazie church. By afternoon, you'll head to the Navigli Canals to walk along the water and check out the atmosphere, then explore the Quadrilatero della Moda fashion district where high-end shops line the streets.

Milan to Venice
After breakfast, you'll board the bus for the drive to Venice, which takes a few hours. Once you arrive in the afternoon, you'll start exploring right away. First stop is Piazza San Marco where you can see the Basilica di San Marco with its golden mosaics covering the interior. Later you'll walk across the Rialto Bridge, one of the most famous spots in the city that crosses the Grand Canal.

Venice
You'll have breakfast and meet your local guide for a full-day exploration of Venice. The morning takes you through the Doge's Palace and across the Bridge of Sighs, which connects the palace to the prison. In the afternoon, you'll take a boat to Murano Island to see how artisans make glass, then head to Burano Island where the houses are painted in bright colors and locals still make lace by hand.

Venice to Rimini
After breakfast, you'll board the bus heading to Rimini, which is a coastal town with lots of history. In the afternoon, you'll see the Tiberius Bridge and the Arch of Augustus, two major Roman structures that are still standing. From there, you'll check out Piazza Cavour and the Malatesta Temple, a Renaissance building that shows the wealth and taste of the families who built it.

Rimini
You'll have breakfast and meet your guide for a full day in Rimini. The morning includes the Surgeon's Palace/City Museum where there are artifacts from ancient times, and Castel Sismondo which is a fortress from the Renaissance. Spend the afternoon walking through the old cobbled streets of town, browsing the small shops, or if you want to relax, head down to the beach along the Adriatic.

Rimini to Rome
After breakfast, you'll get on the bus for the transfer to Rome. When you arrive in the afternoon, you'll head to Piazza Navona with its fountains and Baroque buildings all around. Next you'll walk to the Pantheon to see the massive dome inside. Later, you'll wander through Trastevere, a neighborhood with narrow streets and small restaurants where locals actually eat, not just tourists.

Rome
You'll have breakfast and join your guide for a full day in Rome. This morning covers the Colosseum, the huge arena from ancient times, and the Roman Forum where you can walk through ruins and see what remains of temples and government buildings. In the afternoon, you'll head to Vatican City to see St. Peter's Basilica and the Vatican Museums, including the Sistine Chapel with Michelangelo's paintings on the ceiling.

Rome to Florence
After breakfast, you'll take the bus to Florence, which sits along the Arno River. In the afternoon, you'll go to Piazza del Duomo where the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore is located with its distinctive dome designed by Brunelleschi. You'll also see Giotto's bell tower and the Baptistery doors. Before dinner, walk across the Ponte Vecchio bridge which has jewelry shops built right onto it and offers views down the river.

Florence
You'll have breakfast and spend the full day with a local guide in Florence. The morning takes you through the Uffizi Gallery where paintings by Botticelli, Leonardo da Vinci, and Michelangelo are on display. After that, you'll see Michelangelo's David sculpture at the Accademia Gallery. In the afternoon, you'll explore the Pitti Palace and then stroll through the Boboli Gardens which have sculptures and views over the city.

Florence to Genoa
After breakfast, you'll head to Genoa on the coast. In the afternoon, you'll walk through the Old Town with its narrow alleys and historic buildings packed closely together. You'll stroll down Via Garibaldi, a UNESCO site lined with Renaissance palaces from when Genoa was a major maritime power. Later, you can visit the Genoa Aquarium, one of Europe's largest, to see the marine life collections.

Genoa
You'll have breakfast and join a guide for a full day exploring Genoa. The morning includes the Palazzo Ducale, which used to be where the rulers of the city lived, and the Lanterna Lighthouse, Genoa's symbol that you can see from most parts of the city with views of the coast. In the afternoon, you'll check out the Porto Antico, an old port area that's been restored and now has cafes, museums, and waterfront spaces to walk around.

Genoa to Milan
After breakfast, you'll get on the bus heading back to Milan. The afternoon is free time, so you can go back to places you liked, shop along Via Montenapoleone if you're interested in high-end boutiques, or just find a quiet cafe to relax. In the evening, you'll meet the group for a special farewell dinner at a traditional Italian restaurant where you can reflect on the trip.

Milan
You'll have breakfast and meet your driver for the transfer to Milano Malpensa Airport. The tour ends with your drive to the airport for your departure flight home.
