- Bruno· December 29th, 2023Positive Aspects: 1. The guide was exceptionally friendly, showcasing an extensive knowledge of both the historical sites visited and Greece as a whole. This added a significant and positive dimension to the entire experience. 2. The overall organization of the trip was very good. Participants could fully immerse themselves in the attractions without worrying about logistical details. 3. The chosen destinations were stunning, and the advantage of visiting them in December was the notable lack of crowds, allowing for a more intimate exploration. 4. Hotels and meals were good as well. Negative Points: 1. Due to the considerable distance between attractions, anticipate spending approximately 3 hours each day on travel. 2. The magnificence of Meteora suggests that allocating more than a day to fully appreciate its beauty would be worthwhile. In summary, despite the challenge of the long distances between attractions, the trip offers a unique and enriching experience, providing a perspective of Greece that goes beyond the typical visit to Athens.Show more

- LRLeenoy· October 9th, 2023Superb literary and knowledgeable guide (Tony). If you haven't seen ancient Greece, you haven't seen Greece. Truly the best value for money this tour package was. The shops they take you in the middle of the tours are also super unique (e.g. silk rugs, flavored olive oils, byzantine artworks). We also visited countless small villages in the middle of the tour lol. The bus and schedule were always on time, which is rare in Greece lol. I suggest you book 4-star hotels though :) I am super impressed with everything on this tour and highly recommend it to anyone thinking of booking, you won't be disappointed.Show moreTrip date: August 2023

Guide was very good, so incredibly knowledgeable, as was the driver. A very intense look at ancient Greece- a lot was included in the 4 days which was excellent. The knowledge and commentary by the tour guide was second-to-none and really illuminated the travel and provided much needed historical context and insight to the classical locations. Unfortunately a big downside was the interminable stops at cafés for overlong breaks and the poor quality of tourist trap 'mandatory' restaurants -- we would have preferred a choice, or just space and more time to wander around historical sites instead of a boring, mediocre lunch stop. As a flip side to this 2 out of the 3 evening and breakfast buffets provided by the tour were very good (Olympia, Delphi). Overall top ranking for the guide & itinerary. Very poor for the lunches/rest stops. Coach was comfortable and everything seemed professionally run.Show moreTrip date: May 2023
