- Day 1
Lima
You'll arrive in Lima and head to a 2 pm welcome meeting to connect with your leader and group. After that, take a walking tour through the vibrant Miraflores area with your leader, then you have free time to wander around on your own. The neighborhood's known for its food scene, so try some ceviche or join an optional group dinner if you'd like.

Lima to Paracas
Your morning starts with a guided walking tour of Lima's historic center, visiting ornate mansions, Spanish colonial churches, Plaza Mayor, and the Cathedral of Lima along with San Francisco Monastery. Then you'll check out the central market with your leader to see local produce and regional specialties. Later, head to Alameda de Chabuca Granda, a pedestrian area where locals grab street food and watch entertainment. In the afternoon, travel by minivan to Paracas.

- Day 3
Nazca
You'll take a 2-hour boat tour to Islas Ballestas to see pelicans, boobies, flamingos, sea lions, and penguins. After that, travel by private van toward the Nazca Lines, stopping in the oasis town of Huacachina for lunch. Later, visit the viewing tower at Nazca to see the archaeological site, then head to a traditional mud house in the desert for a homemade pachamanca dinner.

Nazca to Arequipa
You'll travel to Arequipa by private vehicle. This city sits at the foot of El Misti Volcano and features baroque buildings built from pale volcanic rock called sillar, which earned it the nickname the 'White City'. After your drive, explore the main plaza with its cafes and cathedral.

- Day 5
Arequipa
A local guide will show you around Arequipa, visiting the main plaza, Santa Catalina Monastery, and San Ignacio Chapel on a walking tour. Your group will have lunch at a traditional picanteria to try classic Arequipa dishes. The afternoon is yours to explore at your own pace, maybe visit the cathedral, check out cafes, head to the Yanahuara suburb, or see the Juanita Museum with Peru's famous Ice Maiden mummy.

- Day 6
Arequipa to Puno
You'll travel by minivan to Puno on the shores of Lake Titicaca. The drive offers dramatic views of Peru's highlands and the Altiplano, with a stop to visit the pre-Inca ruins of Sillustani, where circular towers called chullpas served as burial sites for noblemen. Then continue to Puno, a cultural center blending Aymara and Quechuan Indigenous heritage.

Lake Titicaca
Your tour of Lake Titicaca begins on the world's highest navigable lake at 3,820 meters above sea level. From a motorboat, you'll learn about the lake's spiritual significance for the Quechua people. You'll visit Uros Titinos, floating islands made entirely from totora reeds. Then head to Taquile Island and climb a one-hour uphill paved path with great lake views. Try an optional quinoa soup lunch and Andean mint tea, then descend 500 steps back to the boat.

Puno to Cusco
You'll take a scenic bus ride across the Altiplano toward Cusco on a public tourist bus with a rest stop along the way. Once in Cusco, the continent's oldest continuously inhabited city, join a guided walking tour to find lesser-known sights like the Qoricancha temple facade, San Pedro market, the main square, 12 Angled Stone, Regocijo Square, and San Blas Square. Ask your leader for dinner recommendations.

Cusco
You have a free day in Cusco to explore on your own terms. Use your included boleto turistico (tourism ticket) to visit museums and archaeological sites like the Contemporary Art Museum, Regional History Museum, and Qosqo Native Art Museum. You can also see the Inca ruins of Q'enqo, Pica Pakara, and Pisac, or visit Qoricancha, once the richest temple in the Incan empire with a Dominican church now built on top.

You'll travel through the Sacred Valley, known to the Incas as Wilcamayo. First, take a guided tour of Sacsayhuaman, an impressive Inca fortress overlooking Cusco built with massive stone blocks. Then stop at the AMA Restaurant in Urubamba, a social enterprise supporting single mothers. Head to the Huilloq community for a textile workshop and traditional guinea-pig lunch (vegetarian option available). End your day with a guided tour of Ollantaytambo's archaeological site.

Ollantaytambo to Aguas Calientes
You'll catch a scenic train through the winding Urubamba Valley to Aguas Calientes. The journey offers excellent photo opportunities as you climb toward this charming town in the cloud forest at the foot of Machu Picchu. Your leader can recommend walks around town. There's also an optional One Day Inca Trail trek (11 km/7 miles) starting at 6:30 am with a local guide, passing archaeological sites and reaching Intipunku with views over Machu Picchu.

- Day 12
Machu Picchu - Cusco
You'll take an early bus at 5:30 am up the winding road to Machu Picchu. Enjoy a guided tour around the ruins of temples, palaces, and living quarters built around 1440 AD as a retreat for Incan nobility. After your tour, return by bus to Aguas Calientes, then take a scenic train ride back to Ollantaytambo, followed by a drive to Cusco for the night.

Cusco to Lima
You'll take a short flight from Cusco to Lima on your own, then get transferred to your hotel and meet a local leader. Spend the day freely exploring sites you may have missed earlier, shopping for last-minute souvenirs, or gathering with the group for one final night out in the city.

Lima to Quito
You'll take a morning transfer to Lima Airport for your flight to Quito, a beautiful city at high altitude under Pichincha volcano. Meet your local representative and transfer to your hotel. Rest until your 5 pm welcome meeting with your new leader and fellow travelers. Dinner at a local restaurant follows so you can experience traditional flavors and get to know your new group.

Landmarks Pichincha Volcano - Day 16
Isla Baltra
Your day starts very early (potentially 4 am) with a transfer to Mariscal Sucre International Airport and a boxed breakfast. Meet your naturalist guide upon arrival in the Galapagos. You'll transfer to Isla Baltra and board M/Y Queen Beatriz, your home for this adventure. Settle in and enjoy lunch with the group. Later, sail to Punta Carrion on the Itabaca Channel for your first snorkel and swim, spotting blue-footed boobies, herons, rays, and reef sharks. A welcome cocktail comes during the crew's presentation.

Isla Isabela
You'll wake up on the south coast of Isla Isabela, the largest Galapagos island formed by five active giant volcanic craters. Visit Las Tintoreras to see a viewing walkway with white-tipped reef sharks. Take a long walk through lava flows spotting blue-footed boobies, penguins, marine iguanas, and crabs. In the afternoon, walk through a coastal lagoon to spot flamingos and visit Isabela's Giant Tortoise Breeding Center to observe tortoises at various stages. Choose between swimming at the beach or shopping in Puerto Villamil.

Isla Floreana
You'll explore Isla Floreana, rich in natural wonders and wildlife. Take a panga ride around the bay spotting marine iguanas, sea lions, and crabs, then walk to Post Office Bay where 18th-century whalers left a mail barrel, so you can post your own cards. Snorkel with sea turtles and spot pink flamingos, pintails, and stilts in lagoons. Visit Devil's Crown, an eroded volcanic cone, and snorkel in it with sea lions and colorful fish. Then visit Punta Cormorant with its distinctive olive-green olivine crystal beach.

Isla Santa Cruz
Your last day on the islands starts early to maximize time. You'll wake up in Isla Santa Cruz and head to Puerto Ayora, the archipelago's economic center. Visit the Charles Darwin Research Station, which does vital conservation work and lets you observe giant tortoises, baby tortoises, and land iguanas. Then head to the airport for your mid-morning flight back to Quito and rejoin the group for a farewell dinner.
