If there were more stars to give, we would give them. My wife and I were on the 30 day Absolute Peru tour and had a fantastic time. The group were great and the guides fantastic. We were lucky enough to have Elmer as the main guide, but in training were Edward and Joseph, who later went on the look after their own group, who would have been lucky to have them. The tour was very well organised and Elmer made sure we knew exactly where to be and when, what to wear, what to bring and what to expect. He also catered to some strange requests with efficiency and diligence, which was greatly appreciated. Thank you to Elmer, Edward, Joseph and everyone behind the scenes at Tourradar for a wonderful experience we will remember for the rest of our lives.

The Absolute Peru trip was our first trip with G Adventures. The trip was fast paced and exhilarating. We saw so much of the country with this tour and the places we visited were magical. Our guide ?Guido? was exceptional, we definitely will consider using G Adventures in the future.

The CEO, Oscar & guides, Nick ect really made the tour exceptional, Oscar took us on an adventure around Peru, sharing our laughs and experiences. The inca trail was hard but so worth it, the views were amazing, as was Rainbow Mountain , the Amazon and the Sand buggy experience. There was so much that we saw and experienced - I loved riding in Cusco around the mountains exploring caves and Inca sights. It was truly a once in a lifetime trip that my daughter & I thoroughly enjoyed with the rest of the small party we were with, we became a family and I know we will all keep in touch.

Overall Absolute Peru was an incredible tour. One of the best I?ve done with G and one of the best of all time! Andres, David, Adelqui and the inca trail crew all made it the journey of a lifetime. I want to also add a special shout out to other CEOs and guides who did not have their own sections on this review. Cesar (assistant guide on inca) was life changing, helping through a very difficult day. I wish him all the best in becoming a CEO next year. Sergio who did our sacred valley tour (and the ones on the Lares trek) was funny and extremely knowledgable. Edwin and Delford in the jungle were great too! So knowledgeable of the local wildlife and we even saw a tapir!

We are looking for a tour from La Paz to Lima. We can walk, but we are not Hikers, and the Inka trail does not interest us. We would like to see, more or less, in this order: La Paz (Arequipa), Sucre, Salt Plain, Puno, Lake Titikaka, Cuzco, Machu Pichu, Rainbow Mountain and Lima. We are happy to catch planes if this means skipping hours of the bus with not much to see, and Train (really interested in train from Puno to Cuzco).

    • G AdventuresOperatorWritten January 2025

You can opt to stay in Cusco and visit Machu Picchu by train.
