It has an absolutely incredible Sherpa expedition team on the ground in the Himalayan fact, the Sherpas baked us a cake on the last day of our trek to wish us well. - JMJames· March 17th, 2020My partner and I booked the Mera Peak Climb in January this year. It was an amazing experience and we were well looked after. The days at lower altitudes were a great warm-up for what was ahead. Now I must admit due to altitude sickness I only made it as far as High Camp, but considering I had never even see snowfall, let alone try to summit a mountain before I was pretty impressed by my effort. We come from the driest state in the driest continent! The views were breathtaking and the trail was nowhere near as crowded as our previous treks in Everest and Annapurna. Couldn't have got a better support team, Especially being my first hike. We had the best of the guides, with Buddha and Nima, very supportive and encouraging. Super helpful guys. And the porters too, Very friendly. At no point during this 15 day trek did I ever I feel I can't make it. Such was the support from these people.
