Athens
You'll arrive in Athens and get settled at your hotel. Spend the afternoon checking out the city on your own terms, wandering through neighborhoods and getting a feel for the capital. Later this evening, you'll meet up with your travel director and group for a light meal to start things off.

- Day 2
Athens
This morning a local specialist leads you through ancient Athens. You'll see the Acropolis and walk through the Parthenon and Temple of Zeus, then stop by the Royal Palace. The Acropolis Museum is included, where you can spend time with the artifacts. Before lunch, you'll spot Hadrian's Arch and the Olympic Stadium from 1896. Afternoon is free, so you can wander the Plaka, sit in Syntagma Square, or hunt down good souvlaki around town.

Athens to Nafplion
After leaving Athens, you'll cross the Corinth Canal and head to ancient Corinth with a local specialist. From there, continue to Mycenae to see the Beehive Tombs, Lion Gate, and what remains of Agamemnon's palace. Next stop is Epidaurus, where you'll explore the ancient theatre and the Sanctuary of Asclepius. By evening you'll arrive in Nafplion, the charming Venetian town, and have dinner at your hotel.

- Day 4
Nafplion to Olympia
You'll travel through the Arcadian mountains toward Olympia. A family-run honey farm gives you a chance to taste thyme-infused honey fresh from the hive and learn how traditional practices help protect the region. Then explore Olympia, where the Olympic Games started in 776 BC. Tonight, the Karabelas family invites you to their olive and wine estate for homecooked food, traditional dancing, and real Greek hospitality.

Olympia to Delphi
This morning a local specialist takes you through the ancient Olympic site and museum, where you'll see the ruined Temples of Zeus and Hera. After leaving Olympia, you'll travel north along the coast to Patras, cross the Gulf of Corinth, and arrive in Delphi. If you're interested, there's an interactive cooking lesson where you can learn to prepare local dishes.

Delphi to Kalambaka
With your local specialist, walk the Sacred Way to the 4th-century Temple of Apollo at Delphi, where ancient Greeks once sought guidance from the Oracle. You'll see statues honoring athletes from the Pythian Games. Later, drive to Thermopylae, where Leonidas and his Spartans made their famous stand against the Persians. After crossing the Thessaly plain, known as Greece's breadbasket, you'll reach Kalambaka by evening.

Visit the UNESCO World Heritage monasteries at Meteora. A local specialist leads you to explore two of the six Eastern Orthodox monasteries sitting on top of massive, rounded rock towers above the town. After the scenic drive back to Athens, you'll gather with your travel group for a final dinner to talk through everything you've seen across Greece.

Athens to Mykonos
You'll leave Athens and board your ship for the Aegean Sea, heading toward Mykonos. Later in the evening, walk through the winding lanes with white-washed buildings and bright bougainvillea flowers lining the streets.

- Day 9
Kusadasi and Patmos
The ship stops at Kusadasi on the Turkish coast. You have a complimentary shore experience going to ancient Ephesus, where you'll walk the Arcadian Way and see the Library of Celsus and Amphitheatre. You can also visit the House of the Virgin Mary. After, the ship continues to Patmos, where St. John wrote the Book of Revelations. Optional visits to the Cave of the Apocalypse and St. John's Monastery are available if you're interested.

You'll arrive in Rhodes. If you want, there's an optional experience to see one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Walk through the medieval streets where knights once ruled, exploring thick stone walls, gates, and cobblestone lanes of the capital before returning to the ship.
