I wanted to learn about St Paul. Our church called it a Pilgrimage: but the tour guide knew very little about Saint Paul. After, I changed my mindset about the trip and looked at it as a vacation, the entire trip was wonderful.

Great tour, learned so much about Greece and the movement of St. Paul from Jerusalem to Rome. The cruise locations were also enlightening although the time on shore was limited. Wonderful sites like the Acropolis, Ephesus in Turkey, the house that St John built for Mary, and the cave where St John lived! The numerous monasteries were an added treat. So much history.

I really liked Turkey and seeing mother Mary's house and Ephesus. I would take out visiting the place they make rugs. The Holiday inn on our last night was the best accommodation.

George was an excellent tour leader. He provided all kinds of interesting and entertaining facts about mythology, Paul and Greece. I would recommend him to others. It is a tough trip and you really need to be able to walk from 16000 to 20000 steps per day. A lot of places were just opening because the tour seasons started that week.

Overall, it was a great trip and I enjoyed all my guides. George, our guide, was fantastic. It was an enjoyable trip. Two changes: My flight to Greece was on American and we arrived, on schedule, but delayed for opening dinner by an hour. There were three of us delayed due to the scheduling of our flight over. The others arrived several hours before. The hotel in Rome was adequate but mattress was old and uncomfortable. Love Collette and will travel again!

Visits to Parthenon and Ephesus memorable plus the Greek Islands experience Least enjoyed the cafeteria type food at Bus Comfort stops Would have preferred more downtime A trip of a lifetime but felt too rushed So much to take in from the local guides Would have preferred a more concise description Unfortunately although cabin on the Discovery was spotless and comfortable the mold in the bathroom gave me a severe respiratory illness I am still recovering from Excellent value for the price we paid
