Itinerary
- Day 1
Tour Overview
Your spiritual journey begins as you trace Paul the Apostle's path through ancient Greece and Turkey. Over the coming days, you'll walk through the cities where he lived, preached, and helped establish early Christianity, seeing firsthand the places that shaped religious history.
- Day 2
Arrival in Athens
You'll arrive in Athens with your evening completely open. Spend it however you'd like exploring Greece's vibrant capital, whether that means wandering neighborhoods, grabbing dinner at a local taverna, or just getting oriented to the city on your own terms.
- Day 3
Areopagus - Acropolis - Athens
This morning you'll travel to ancient Corinth for a guided tour of the Agora and Bema, the very places where Paul lived and preached. Later you'll head back to Athens to visit Mars Hill and the Acropolis. By evening, you'll enjoy a welcome dinner with Greek entertainment in the Plaka district, a nice way to kick off the group experience.

Mykonos
You'll board a 3-night cruise heading toward the Greek Islands and Turkey. First stop is Mykonos, a mountainous island with tiny chapels, whitewashed buildings, and traditional windmills. After settling in, the afternoon and evening are yours to wander through Mykonos Town's narrow streets and get a feel for the island.

Ephesus - Patmos
The ship docks at Kusadasi in Turkey, and you'll head to the UNESCO ruins of Ephesus where Paul spent 3 years. You'll see the Agora, the great theater, and the stadium. From there, visit the House of Mary before the ship continues to Patmos, where you can see the Monastery of John and the Cave of the Apocalypse.

Knossos - Santorini
Crete brings you to the open-air museum of the Minoan Palace of Knossos. After that tour, you have free time to explore museums, shop, or sit at a local cafe and relax. Later, you'll continue sailing toward Santorini, with the choice to explore independently or book a ship excursion.

Icon-Painting Workshop - Kalambaka
You'll disembark early and head north, stopping at Thermopylae to explore its historic significance. Next, you'll visit an icon-painting workshop where you can learn about Byzantine Orthodox devotional traditions. The day ends with an overnight stay in Kalambaka.

Thessaloniki
The UNESCO Meteora monasteries are your main focus today, with dramatic sandstone pinnacles rising from the Thessalian plain and 6 historic monasteries perched on top. You'll visit two of these monasteries and see the Byzantine art inside. After that, you'll travel to Thessaloniki, Greece's second largest city and an early Christian center where Paul preached and wrote his epistles.

Philippi
You'll reach Kavala, the coastal town where Paul first stepped onto European soil. A guided tour takes you to nearby Philippi, the archaeological site of his first European sermon. You'll see monuments from Ancient Roman and Byzantine periods, including the dungeon where Paul was imprisoned and the location where he baptized Lydia, Europe's first Christian.

Athens - Farewell Dinner
Today you'll journey through the fertile Thessalian Valley and Central Greek plains, arriving back in Athens by late afternoon. You'll celebrate the end of your spiritual journey with a farewell dinner at your hotel, which is conveniently located near the airport.
