- DMDoris· October 2nd, 2024In fact we were absolutely satisfied with our experience. Way better than we imagined, such overwhelming beautiful landscapes and attractions. The guides were informative and always helpful. Even the one who took us to the ice cave, unique. Arctic Tours is very organized, always on time, good hotels also. And we were also lucky to see the northern lights. An experience worth suggesting to others.Show moreTrip date: September 2024
Beth· August 6th, 2024The actual experience of visiting places in Iceland was fantastic; see details below. But dealing with Tour Radar was a nightmare. They don’t include the night before the tour begins (at 9am, so you have to have a hotel that night); and they don’t include the hotel n the last night ( which ends at 7pm). I was emailing them for over 2 weeks to try to get the information I needed to book those hotels; i.e. where we were meeting and being dropped off. Insane. Other information was also missing. 1. The glacier “hike” was not what we expected; it involves walking on the glacier along a rugged path with several dangerous areas; the guides were professional and helpful, but we should have been given more complete information. Many of us felt worried in some areas; one person backed out; another was injured. It’s a spectacular experience, but even one of the guides agreed that it is not an easy level of difficulty. 2. The night we spent in a Vik, a lovely area, there was only dinner at the hotel, not included in the tour price; no inexpensive options. We should have been told that ahead of time so we had the option of buying food at one of the stops along the way. One person skipped dinner. Iceland is glorious - I will tell everyone I know to visit, but book your en tours, directly through one of the 3 companies, then take care of hotels yourself. It will save you a lot of aggravation and frustration. I almost gave up on the trip because Tour Radar was so difficult. I especially recommend the Snaefellsness peninsula, the Karuma spa, Pingvellir National Park (Golden Circle), any waterfall you can visit, and the South Coast tour. Bring rain gear. It’s often misty, sometimes actually raining.Show moreTrip date: August 2024- KWKathleen E· April 25th, 2024Excellent tour. A little more room on the bus and a smoother ride would be great.Show moreTrip date: March 2024
Shoko· March 1st, 2024Great tour, short but hit all the places that were on the initinery and the pick up from the hotel was very swift and easy. The guides for the 2 trips were friendly. I love how Mahlia (or Maria?) added her personal touch and stories to the pitch on the bus. I had a great trip in Iceland and want to come back again in different seasons.Show moreTrip date: February 2024
Jenna· March 1st, 2024Excellent tour though I did not see the Northern Lights. Will recommend.Show moreTrip date: February 2024- LSLuna· February 23rd, 2024We had a great tour guide ‘Maggy’ who showed us more than what was on the itinerary. He also made great food and other suggestions. Everything was so beautiful and breathtaking. The activities were fun and on time. It was a wonderful experience!Show moreTrip date: January 2024
- BSBeate· January 10th, 2024Automatic translation available in English. View in EnglishSmall tour group, well organized, lots of great/unforgettable experiences. In the first two days, the guide was a bit difficult to understand over the microphone. In the second half the guide always gave us good information/instructions (even without a microphone). Accommodation between the 1& 2 and 3 & 4 days was great. The hotel for the night between 3-4 days was hostel-like (room without windows????).Show more

- MWMartin· November 3rd, 2022The staff was super professional, helpful and funny too. The trip to the ice cave was quite challenging for two of our group, as we had to walk approx. 3km to the cave through rough terrain from the parking lot. We needed longer than planned, so we missed the amphibian boat tour through the lagoon.Show more

Asked on October 5th, 2025I have a few questions about this tour. I'm planning on traveling with 2 other friends. We will all be booking separately. Is it possible to request in advanced for the shared accommodations to stay with my friend Gabi even if we are booking separately? My next question is for the meeting point on Sunday at 9am do you know yet where it will be? We are planning on arriving in Iceland at 6am that day. I was also wondering on the first day for the option of the geothermal baths if the tour price includes this or is there extra fees for this?
Arctic AdventuresOperator•Written October 20251 it would be possible for us to leave a note for the operational team, so you will be accommodated in the same room as your friends. After all the bookings are done, please reach out to us with names and/or reference numbers for your friends' names. 2 You can choose a pick-up location that works the best for you. We have a designated list of locations where we pick-customers up for the tours. 3 Visit to nature baths are not included in the price of the ticket. The visit can be added for a fee of 7400 ISK. It is also not included in the 'Adventure package'. The reason is that Myvatn is not operated by us.

Traveler•Written October 2025Is the Krauma geothermal baths the same thing as what you mentioned?
Arctic AdventuresOperator•Written October 2025This tour used to include a visit of Krauma geothermal baths as an optional extra for an additional fee. However, it is no longer available due to external reasons, and it seems that the tour description hasn't been adjusted to reflect the change. Unfortunately, this means that a nature baths visit is not in the itinerary. However, our more adventurous customers can add an optional guided tour that will offer a chance to step into the 8,000-year-old Vatnshellir Cave and feel closer to the core of the Earth!
