Lucerne
You'll arrive in Lucerne at your own pace and settle into your accommodation. Take time to walk around this lakeside city before your cycling tour starts. The town sits right on the water, so there's plenty to see just from wandering the streets and getting your bearings.

- Day 2
Lucerne Lake Cycling Tour
This morning you'll cycle over gentle hills with views of Lake Lucerne and Rigi mountain. The route passes through idyllic meadows and takes you along the Küssnacht lakeside promenade to Weggis. From there, board a boat to Beckenried, then continue cycling along the lake to the Horw peninsula where you can see Pilatus mountain. You'll head back to Lucerne by late afternoon.

- Day 3
Lucerne to Emmental Valley
Start cycling from Emmenbrcke over the Brunauer Berg ridge, riding through farmland with views of Emmental Valley. Stop at Werthenstein Abbey during the ride. After that, follow the Kleine Emme river back to Lucerne. This route takes you through quieter countryside rather than along the lake.

- Day 4
Lucerne to Sursee
Cycle through quiet forests and past fields and farms heading toward Sursee on Lake Sempach. You'll see Alpine peaks and Mount Pilatus along the way. After lunch in town, return to Lucerne by riding narrow paths right beside Lake Sempach. It's a nice contrast riding both quiet roads and lakeside routes.

- Day 5
Lucerne to Lake Zug
This day involves more water transport mixed with cycling. Head to Küssnacht on Lake Lucerne, then continue a few kilometres to Lake Zug at Rigi's southern edge. Board a boat at Immensee to take you and your bike to Zug. From there, cycle along the shores to Rotkreuz, then take a forest adventure trail back to Lucerne.

- Day 6
Lucerne to Lake Baldegg
Cycle past Emmenbrcke to Lake Baldegg, which has over 300 plant species if you're interested in that. Visit Heidegg Castle and its beautifully preserved park and cultural landscape. There's an optional short tour of the rose garden if you want to add that. From there, cycle back to Lucerne for the final time on your tour.

Lucerne Departure
Your cycling tour through the Lucerne region ends today. You can depart Lucerne whenever works for you, or if you'd like, extend your stay and keep exploring the area on your own.
