Itinerary
- Day 1
Dublin to Dingle
You'll head south through Ireland's countryside into County Kerry, making your way to Adare first. The town's known for its thatched cottages and Adare Manor, both worth a look around. From there, you'll stop in Annascaul to check out The South Pole Inn and learn about explorer Tom Crean's connection to the area. Later that day you'll arrive in Dingle, a fishing town where you can settle in and catch some live Irish music at the local pubs.

Mount Brandon and Slea Head Loop
After breakfast, you're tackling Mount Brandon. It's a moderate to strenuous hike, about 8km with 750m of elevation gain and roughly 4 hours total. You'll go via Connor Pass and get Atlantic views along the way. Once you've reached the summit and taken your break, you'll drive around the Slea Head Loop, passing beehive huts and Star Wars film locations before heading back to Dingle.

Gap of Dunloe Walk
Leave Dingle early and travel to Killarney National Park. You'll board a boat from 15th century Ross Castle across the lakes to Lord Brandon's Cottage. Then comes the Gap of Dunloe walk, a moderate hike that's about 13km and takes roughly 4 hours, with Purple Mountain on your left. You'll finish at Kate Kearney's Cottage for a rest before taking the bus back to Killarney. That evening, check out the traditional music scene at pubs like O'Connor's or Courtney's.

Choice of Walks
You've got two options for walking in Killarney National Park today. Option 1 is hiking Mangerton or Torc Mountain (guide picks based on weather), about 12km with 600 to 800m ascent and 4 hours duration, with chances to see Ireland's wild red deer. Option 2 is a leisurely walk to Torc Waterfall and back via Kerry Way, about 6.5km one-way and 1.5 to 2 hours, with time to explore Muckross House gardens or Muckross Abbey ruins.

Cliffs of Moher Coastal Walk
Travel north along Ireland's wild west coast through scenic countryside toward the River Shannon. You'll take a ferry (watch for dolphins) into County Clare along the Wild Atlantic Way. Stop at Kilkee for a coastal cliff walk past blowholes and sea stacks. Later you'll reach the Cliffs of Moher, standing 214 metres high, then continue to Doolin, known as the capital of Irish traditional music. Spend your evening relaxing with traditional music and local food.

Inis Mór
Ferry across from Doolin harbour to Inis Mór, the largest Aran Island where Irish is the everyday language. You'll explore the island and visit Dún Aonghasa, a prehistoric stone fort sitting 300 feet above the Atlantic. Swimming at the beach is possible if weather cooperates. Later you'll walk the lower coast road, about 2 hours, past stone walls with ocean views before catching the return ferry. Once back on the mainland, freshen up and have dinner at a local pub.

Burren Loop Walk
Explore the Burren, a limestone karst landscape with cracked stone pavements and rare Arctic, Mediterranean, and Alpine plants found nowhere else in Ireland. You'll hike Mullaghmore, one of the Burren's peaks at 192 metres, which is fairly accessible and offers 360-degree views across the limestone landscape and Galway Bay. After taking in the summit, you'll head back to Dublin, arriving around 6pm depending on traffic.
