- RRRobert· January 3rd, 2024The guide and driver I had were were excellent. The sites visited were also worthwhile. The hotels were good. I don't appreciate the visits to commercial vendors who try to sell you expensive carpets, clothing, jewellery. The tour name is deceptive: It's not 10 days, it's 8, because the first day is only a transfer from the airport and a short briefing in the evening, and the last day is just breakfast and check out of the hotel and a transfer to the airport. Also there Pamukkale thermal spa and was blown away with Ephesus We were less impressed with Istanbul as was overly busy There were some early starts and long days so some indication of this before would be beneficial We preferred the Kent hotel in Istanbul , and enjoyed the view at Cannekle but the room wasn’t great, especially bed. Suggest you prioritise great beds ! Our last two hotels were poor with Wi-Fi issued, not good food and too big. But if anyone needed something in the group she would be willing. I even confronted her. Caused a whole scene. I even cried. Sending the video to my travel agent. I had to leave the tour in the middle without even getting to Cappadocia. Headed back to Istanbul. A waste of my money. I don’t recommend this company for anyone. They even refused to refund me. The tour guides name was Lale. That woman is something else. Unfortunately we do not. We have found that the majority of our guests would prefer not to share rooms since the pandemic. That being said our tour is 30% off right now (for a limited time) which means that the solo room including supplement is still less expensive than the regular shared room cost, so you are getting a great deal. Our February 3rd departure is sold out, is there another date that might work for you?
